Excellent compact small backpack. Has also the features required and still lightweight.

I recently bought two of these - one in teal (for my wife) and the other in green (for me). Colours are great, they seem very well made and sturdy, they look fantastic, have lots of pockets and have the all-important strap for across the chest which really helps to keep the backpack in place. I read reviews that said the backpacks are not very water resistant, so I also bought two waterproof backpack rain protectors (very reasonable price!). These sit very flatly and neatly into one of the many pockets on the backpacks, ready for whenever they're needed. I would highly recommend these backpacks!

Like the look of this rucksack and the options on colours. It is lightweight. This is not waterproof and was not expecting it to be. The build quility is decent apart from zip. It's comfortable to wear and great for light wight carrying for the day.Love the 2 side pockets for drink bottles. Like the long yellow strap on the zip for front pocket. Easy to find and pull. The main shoulder straps are padded.Don't like the zips. They feel cheap and they catch on the zip covering far too often which is frustrating.For this size of rucksack (small) there is no need for the hip / waist straps. This already has a connecting strap at the chest. Way too many straps and just get caught in things. Octopus with too many arms!Hard to get into middle compartment as you can only zip along the top. It does not allow you to open it right up and pull the flap back to see what's in there.So why 4 stars and not 3 or even 2 stars, frankly cost, it is cheap.

Love this backpack. It travelled with me to London Marathon and was roomy and sturdy. Support straps take the pressure off your back so comfy. Very pleased with this buy.

Plenty of pockets and compartments, not heavy and nice mesh on rear.

The media could not be loaded.  Picked up this for a holiday to Japan, where we were planning a lot of walking to visit temples etc, ended up using in place of my regular everyday backpack.Despite its modest capacity, it's surprisingly spacious, fitting more than some 24L packs. The design maximizes space efficiently, making it great for daily use and short trips.The numerous pockets are well-placed and handy, keeping everything organized. This backpack is great value for money. I bought it for an upcoming trip and it’s the perfect size for a day hiking. I initially thought it looked too small but I tried putting everything I’d need for a day’s walking and it fitted easily. I put waterproof trousers, jacket, snacks, drinks, hat, phone, tissues etc and it all fit easily. It’s very lightweight with padding on the back so it feels very comfortable. It looks good too. I bought the navy and it’s a nice colour.

Like all the pockets and pole holders. I once had a great back pack which was designed to hold the actual backpack away from the back, Wish I could find a similar one again. You need to carry an extra t-shirt in the bag so you can change at the end of the hike.

We purchased this pack and another pack for 6 days of day hiking in 2 National Parks and on the plane I would recommend this pack as a slightly larger than small pack. It’s comfortable, sturdy, and lightweight. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsily. The bag was tossed around and placed in rough surfaces from forests to rocky landscapes and held up well. No tears or pulls. Plenty of pockets to store snacks and a bladder. It could hold a rain jacket, camera, battery pack, fruits, snacks, small medical kit, 2L or 3L bladder (we used a 2L), d ring exterior clips, 1-2 exterior water bottles, maps, bug spray, sunscreen, and other supplies in moderation. The exterior mesh pockets can hold large 32oz water bottles or similar on either side. But that adds to the weight you’ll carry. The exterior straps held them tightly in place. I didn’t feel like the pack or it’s contents sat on my back awkwardly or were unstable. There are plenty of adjustable straps. However, I didn’t like the one interior Velcro bladder strap. 2 straps would have been much better to hold the bladder in place. Occasionally, the one strap system slipped open causing the bladder to sag. I used a chip clip to hold the strap securely and stabilize the bladder. The mesh back pad worked nicely to vent heat, but you’ll still sweat with a cotton shirt. But that’s with all bags. Note: There’s no bladder included, which is a plus. I’ve read comments to the contrary, but the other bag we purchased came with a cheap bladder that needs to be replaced because it was terrible — that only adds to the cost. Plus buy a great bladder you’ll like and not get frustrated with when you need a drink. We liked the slot placement for the bladder hose. It would have been really nice if the bladder pocket was insulated as with other bags. The bag also fits nicely in the plane. If we had to do it again, I would purchase a slightly larger size 25L vs a 20L, but that’s not a deal breaker. This bag is fine for hikes of different levels. I would get one with the exterior webbing to stow additional items, but that my preference. Overall good value and would recommend this pack after having actually used it in rugged terrain for several days.

I got this to use as a travel daypack. I had a similar Deuter pack that I used for years and years which was also 20 litres in size so I already knew that size I needed. The Deuter was plainly wore out. This pack has similar pockets however I like the security zipper on the front plus that I can remove the waist belt. I couldn’t on the Deuter pack and I never used the waist belt so it was just a hassle. Much better on this with it being removed. This pack holds everything I need when out and around for the day when traveling with room to spare for items I might buy during the day. I can carry my water bottle in the side pocket where it is handy plus a lunch in the main pocket with a jacket and travel book plus & a small tablet. I got the green colour so it blends in and doesn’t attract attention to the pack for pick pockets or thieves plus that is where the pocket with the security zipper comes in handy. The price was great for a day pack. Highly recommended.
