Our Coconut shy posts are manufactured from galvanised steel to our own design. The poles are 1m high, with a small ring at top of posts so that normal sized coconuts should be easy to knock off. They are galvanised so will not rust for many years and the coconut ring lies slighly below top of post so that the pole can be easily hammered into the ground without the ring interfering. The balls are small, 2 inch, light wooden balls that require a direct hit at reasonable speed to knock a coconut off its stand. Most smaller children won't be able to throw the ball hard enough to succeed so for tinier humans we suggest either buying our larger wooden balls or else balancing the coconut more precariously on the post rather than sitting it in the hoop. Our Mini Coconut Shy Set includes 3 posts and 10 balls. Coconuts not included (but are easily purchased from a grocery store). Approx. dimensions: Posts 1m long. Inside diameter 78mm. Balls 5cm.
