Amazon Essentials Men's Relaxed-Fit 5-Pocket Jean

I had previously been a buyer of Levi's 560, then when they were phased out, I went with Lee Relaxed for a similar fit - but Lee varies widely in denim weight from color to color. Saw these Amazon Essentials Relaxed and for the price, I figured I'd try one pair, and if I didn't like them, no harm no foul. With the big brand names approaching $60 if they're not on sale, buying a pair for under $15 is a steal.When I say these fit beautifully, I mean better than Levi's or Lee ever did. The waist actually reaches my waist, and the leg length is perfect... as you see by the size I purchased (34x34), I have long legs for my body and getting the right fit of waist and inseam is sometimes difficult, regardless of what the size tag says. Liked the one pair I bought so much, I have purchased three more - and all 4 fit exactly the same. Hopefully, Amazon will add a few more colors to the three currently offered - I'd like to see dark indigo, black, and something even lighter than the Light Wash - but for now, these jeans are that rare combination of excellent fit and great price.

First I ordered 32w (wishful thinking...) and 32L (my normal...) and they were VERY snug in the waist (subconsciously expected) and WAY too long... not AT ALL expected! So I returned and ordered 33Wx 30L.... PERFECT! Also, the denim is nice and heavy but not too stiff... they actually softened up a bit after first wash, and little to no shrinkage. Nice deep pockets, too. Seams and rivets seem to be well constructed/tailored, and the overall fit is relaxed as advertised... not baggy at all... very comfy! I recommend these jeans, just go an inch or two shorter on the length that you usually get in Levis or Wrangler etc, depending on where you want them to fall on the ankle. These 30's fall nicely on my heel, without dragging the floor or appearing as high-waters when I sit down... All in all I'd say a very strong 9 out of 10.

Love that these jeans fit well, give you the room you want and can be worn with just about anything.I have paired it with t-shirts, sweaters and even button down shirts. As you going throughout the day you can feel comfortable because they're not tight-fitting or bunch up on you.They look great, feel great and the price is perfect. Loving having these jeans as part of my wardrobe.

I buy quite a few items from amazon essentials as the quality and price point are great. However, I always seem to find major discrepancies in all of the pants that I have bought from them. I have been excited to see that they offer odd numbered inseams. 32 has always been too long and 30 usually too short for me. I was excited for a pair of jeans that fits me. Sadly this pair misses the mark. They are way too long, must be 33 inches. I will contemplate returning, however I am not sure it is worth the hassle. I will continue to buy these products as most are great, the measurement is just off.

Maybe I'm cheap, but I get a real resentment about having to pay a fortune for a decent pair of jeans. I'd been buying Oscar jeans but their quality control went down the drain and you never know what you're going to get with them. These are good, sturdy jeans at a very reasonable price. They're sort of a medium weight so they're good for either summer or winter wear. Nicely stitched and the fit was exactly as described. They're totally generic so if you want sparkles on your butt they aren't for you. If you're looking for a durable, well made pair of jeans, I'd recommend them highly.

Wasn't sure what to rate it. I bought the jeans at my normal size, 29x32. They are very loose at the waist. All other brands I buy at this size fit very well. I got them for $11.51, great deal, so I'll just keep them for work pants. I wanted to order another pair(s) at 28x32 but the price jumped up to over $25 dollars! Yikes! No way.So overall,very good quality pants. This pair just runs larger than advertised. Bummer.

Fits like I wanted it to. A bit heavier weight but that is ok.

I lost weight so it was time to replace my trusty Levis. The price of Levis jeans was up so I thought I'd try Amazon Essentials 5 Pocket Jeans. They are a mid-weight jean so if you're looking for super-duty bricklayer jean there might not be for you but if you're the other 90% of those looking for jeans these will do the job nicely. The cut and the quality of stitching was on par or better than my previous jeans from Levis and Wrangler. I purchased the pre-washed model and there's been no shrinkage at all. I particularly like the short (28") leg length which can be hard to get in the more traditional brands. These jeans are a great value.
