Went on without much fuss. SO much more room than my last bags. Only notable complaint is the bags faded pretty quick. Not horrible, but can definitely see the difference between what the lid covered and the rest of the bag. Still look, gotten multiple compliments on them. The brown bags look great against the matte black finish of the bike. Overall, nice product so far.

They look cool but started falling apart first use. Straps tear, not secure,straps not strong enough to support the bags.

My bags are getting old. Got these and the measurements matched what I wanted but due to the firm side construction(not their fault just not what I wanted) they carry less than my other bags. I gave them to a buddy. Will be looking for less structured bags in the future.

Our saddlebags have 20+ years on them and they have seen a lot and been through a lot. After many polishings and repairs, they are just unfortunately at the end of their usefulness and are ready for retirement. These saddlebags in black are similar to our original set although a bit skinnier side-to-side. More importantly they look good on the motorcycle.**Product description:The saddlebags that we got are black leather with two fastener straps that can be opened with a snap clip at the bottom or unbuckled. The snap clip has a locking mechanism to lock the bags long as no one wants to try to unbuckle them to get inside.The bags are attached to each other by an adjustable center strap. Each bag has a zipper to remove it from the center strap with a Velco cover to protect the zipper from the elements. Inside the bags is a single big pocket with smaller pockets on the opposite side. The insides are are also hard lined to protect the bag shape.There is a rain flap to protect the inner contents and a rear outside pocket. More interesting though was the two holsters included with our set. Not very practical placement for such items in the saddle bags, but OK. Good sunglass holsters I suppose.**Assembly Requirements:Adjustment of the center strap for proper alignment on the motorcycle may be needed.What I liked/The pros: -Nice design and looks good. -Fits on our big Honda VTX. -Lots of pockets. -Easy to zipper removal from center strap and off the bike. -Holsters??? (need six shooters to use).What I didn't/The cons: -none so far.**Does it work as described: Yes, they hold the stuff**Learning curve to use: None but requires proper placement.**Ease of use: Very easy.**Easy to assemble: Minor motorcycle knowledge required to properly set up.I'm very happy that I was able to get these saddlebags to replaces our ailing bags of yore. So far they have held up well. I have loaded them down and they haven't sagged or ripped anywhere. The leather craftmanship is pretty good and seem well stitched. They are exactly the same as our last set albeit a smidge skinnier but that just means I have to be more efficient in packing for trips. A nice product especially for shootin' irons. 5 stars.

Bags are damaged looks like water got under the leather not pleased

For starters stiching coming apart where zippers come together. Caught in rain 1 time board that is supposed to keep shape is now warped. Very disappointed
