Does what they say they do
These performed as I hoped and payed off. I was hesitant about buying these vs the expensive Japanese version but these worked great. I had two very crusty, old rusty screws inside an oven that didn’t want to come out. It was a sensitive issue since we didn’t want to strip the screw heads and have to drill them out. These were the last resort before stripping the screw heads out. They grab very tightly and don’t slip off easily. Takes some effort but they took both problem screws out in seconds. Those two screws put up a fight, would have been a major headache and wasted time drilling them out and looking for replacements. They may not always work for every situation but I’m happy and they’re staying in my tool box.

Removed stripped screw easily
I was very skeptical since there is a more expensive alternative product on Amazon which is basically the same product at a higher price, but I decided to start with these pliers. I purchased these pliers to extract a stripped screw. I had tried the rubber band method and that didn't work. Once I received these pliers it took me less than 2 minutes to get the stripped screw out. I recommend this product.

Great tool at price point
I have several of the high end Japanese made pliers that are similar to these that I use to extract sheared off screws. I figured I’d try theses as they were only 1/3 the cost of the high end tool. I don’t think these will last as long but they work just as well right out of the box, so if you need them for occasional use or you need multiple pairs for different work locations, the Workpro pliers will fit the need well.

Not a bad little set
Ironically, since i bought this i haven't had a seized screw, but Ive used it a lot for is hose clamps and i LOVE IT for that. its small and easy to maneuver, really hard jaws which i was surprised about given the price point. and as a bonus, the cutters are really sharp. would buy again.

Even better than it's big brothers
I purchased the large version which I reviewed as well they're more like traditional wire cutting dikes they work very well but the smaller version because the tip is thinner has even a better chance of grabbing the edge of smaller screws between the two I have removed at least a hundred bad screws in the field I work in in just a few weeks it takes time but it works

Excellent Concept, Merely OK Execution Of The Concept
I have a handful of various Workpro tools in my toolbox and generally find they represent good value for money in mid quality tools. I was excited to get these Workpro screw extraction pliers to add to my "at home" toolbox, which is a collection of tools I leave inside my home, while most of my tools live in the work vehicle for my handyman business. These Workpro screw extraction pliers appear to be a loose copy of the more famous Vamplier screw extraction pliers, which themselves are a rebranded set of Engineer screw extraction pliers from Japan. I also own the Engineer original pliers on which these pliers appear to be based and the Workpro version even copies the pattern on the rubber handles. I also own the functionally similar Knipex Twin-Grip pliers. These pliers are clearly in a different quality and cost category from the Knipex, Engineer and Vamplier screw extraction pliers. The rubbery material covering the handles feels more plasticy, slightly more slick and less durable than any of the other pliers mentioned. There's a small amount of slop in the pivot on my example of the Workpro's, but my Engineer's and Knipex exhibit zero slop in their pivot. When closed the jaws on the Workpro's don't quite meet properly (see my photo of closed pliers held up to a light), while the Engineer's and Knipex meet perfectly. These Workpro pliers are currently $10, while I paid $14 here on Amazon for the nearly identical (but better built) Engineer's and $29 for the extremely high quality Knipex Twin-Grips. I find screw extraction pliers to be extremely useful, a critical tool even, so if your budget only stretches to $10 I'd pick up these Workpro's. If your budget can stretch further the Engineer, Vamplier or Knipex screw extraction pliers are all built to higher standards and, in my opinion, are well worth the additional cost.
