I have outdoor, oversized, dangling light decorations for my house and couldn’t find a hook that helped me get the style I wanted. These hooks allow the lights to dangle and are super easy to remove. They’ve been able to stay up even in the cold weather and wind. Sometimes the adhesive doesn’t always stick, but only had that issue with 2 of the 8 I’ve used. Super sturdy and functional!

Bought these to assist with hanging garlands over our sliding doors. However, our walls are very textured they did not stick too well. Therefore, I used them on our doors to hang the wreathes and the Command Small Wire Toggle Hooks held them in place. Additionally, I was able to remove the hook adhesive damage-free.

The adhesive provided with this product will not stick to a textured wall. We have standard textured drywall and they won't adhere at all. If you get these, purchase the replacement command adhesive that is more of a foam texture, those adhere to textured walls. This adhesive will likely work great with a flat surface. Other then that, they work well. The hook itself can rotate on the plastic base. After purchasing these i do realize that I personally prefer the all plastic hooks that Command makes. But these are fine. Easy to install and use. Sturdy when used with the foam adhesive. And as always, easy to remove

I snagged a box of these, and they arrived quickly. They were packed in a plain brown box though, with no 3M markings. They looked okay when I opened them, so a snagged a pair, and got the tapes out.A quick swipe on the wall with alcohol on a washcloth, and waited for it to dry. Mounted the tapes on the hooks then mounted to the wall. Pushed them into the wall for a full minute, so hard, my thumb had a dent in it, from the hook mounting plate. Waited until morning to hang my flag, and one hook was gone. I found it, on the floor, with the tape still on it.I felt the tape, and it had no sticky left on it. Strange, right? I felt the wall, and it wasn't there, either. I touched the hook on the wall, to see what kind of tensile strength it had, and it immediately fell off the wall as well. I got some more tapes out, and peeled them. one side was ok (the side marked for the hook) but the wall side was almost non-existent, for stickiness.My only thought was, these had to be cheap chinese counterfeit items. Contacted Amazon, told them how much they sucked, and they offered a refund. I suppose I could go to a big box store and get some legit tape, and try again, but that kinda defeats the whole purpose of shopping online in the first place. Anyways, these are junk, don't waste your money.

Does what it purports to do!

I got these for our shower. I installed several, so that we could hang a comb, on e, a shower cap on another and for temporary use for washclothes while showering. I had installed some 6 years ago and they worked really well, but eventually came off the wall. These have not lasted. One fell off right away and a second one fell of after about 5 weeks. The third one is still on, but we haven't used it, so it hasn't been tested.I realize that we were using them in the shower. But the ones that we bought 6 years were, too, and they worked pretty well for a long time.So, I find them to be very useful, but I suppose I need to get some command strips to go with them that are waterproof. They must not be making the strips the same way as they used to.
