Having been previously enchanted by the delightful aroma of their blueberry candle, I was inspired to try this espresso variant, anticipating an equally captivating coffee-inspired scent. Unfortunately, the reality didn't quite live up to my expectations.Upon first lighting the candle, there was an initial burst of the promised espresso scent, which, though pleasing, proved to be ephemeral. After this fleeting moment, I found the coffee aroma to be largely absent. I've pondered whether draining some of the molten wax or trimming the wick might encourage the scent to resurface, but these remain untested theories for now.Subsequent uses of the candle have presented me with a different aroma altogether, rather akin to slightly scorched popcorn. Although not as potent, it's still a noticeable departure from the rich, coffee scent I had envisioned.

i love the smell of coffee beans. i think i've tried all the coffee/espresso scented candles out there, and they all have overtones of this "sweet milk/cream" scent mixed in that i find extremely cloying, making them all smell more like a Frappuccino than straight coffee beans (what i prefer). however, i must admit, this brand has the least of that sweet milk scent, and therefore the closest to plain coffee beans.

Considering the other reviews, I must have received old candles. The scents are lovely but I really have to put my nose to the jar to smell them. Nothing overwhelming at all. I have burned the Macintosh Apple and Espresso. I have even went outside and came back inside to see if they are noticeable. Nothing. My husband did not notice them. I really had much bigger hopes after all the positive reviews. Very disappointed.

The only part of this candle that you can smell is the smoke when you burn out the wick

Mum loves it. Says it smells amazing. Have bought others for her, she is in love with them and this one amd the maple butter one are her favourites so far.

This is one of many candles I have bought from this company, and I am not disappointed! Lovely jar, long-lasting candle and nice smell. However, the aroma is far more chocolaty than pure espresso, so I’d describe it as a mocha!
