Works well but…
When I had a new kitchen fit several years ago I seriously considered getting a kettle like this. My youngest daughter was horrified and gradually wore me down. So I purchased another electric kettle which was great. But now it’s stopped working. My husband has been wanting a variable temperature kettle for ages and we said that would be our next purchase. But for every great review there’s a terrible one. It appears the technology just isn’t there yet.So we found ourselves without a working kettle. This seemed like a good option. In theory it should last forever (or at least as long as we need) and with the induction hob it boils quicker than our old electric one (back when it was working of course). It’s not without its faults and I honestly don’t like it as much as our old electric one but it works and there’s nothing to go wrong on it (fingers crossed). My daughters main issue (she has several) is that she can’t put the kettle on like she used to do and go for a shower. It doesn’t switch itself off and whistles loudly. Also (and my main issue) you can’t see how much water is in there. The kettle is heavy and it takes a while to judge. But we have a reliable working kettle.

VERY POOR QUALITY KETTLE
The metal coating began to come off the kettle within a few days of use. Shortly afterwards rust started to form on the body of the kettle and the base. When I contacted the sellar they refused to accept the return and refund. Very rude and obstructive. Because of the damage the kettle then began to leak and could not be used at all. Amazon who have usually been good in the past in handling disputes also did not want to know. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this company and its products.

Solid - but be careful
A solid kettle but all too easy to burn your finger when pressing the release button forthe spout when the kettle boils. A bad (lack of) design feature

It does the job well
It has a simple design, works well, we've used it for many months without issues. The only criticism is the surface is poor quality and difficult to clean. It needs a better spray paint or to be left plain metal.

Quiet until it whistles!
So much quieter than any electric kettle. Until it has boiled and whistles of course. On an induction hob it is very quick.Very pleased with it.

Whistling Kettle
Really nice looking kettle. A bit heavy to hold when filling. I expected it to boil really quickly because of induction hob but it takes around 6 minutes to boil. Maybe this is normal but I have been used to using an electric kettle which boils in a couple of minutes. Nevertheless I am really pleased with it. Looks really good in my kitchen.

Perfect for use on induction hob
Had a new hob fitted, with new kitchen, old kettle bit knackered, wanted a whistler.... works perfectly. As an aside there are a couple of points to make.1) We live in a very hard water area and so far this is the first kettle we have had that has not furred up by now.2) Everyone says that the drinks we make with this actually have a better taste... no idea if this is subjective but quite a few people have said it to us.

Great kettle with stable base
Needed a kettle for on a boat and this is great - wide, stable and heavy base, heats up quickly, whistle and the lever for opening the spout is built into the handle which helps minimise risk of scalding. Very happy with purchase.
