I was getting a round of laser treatments for my rosacea and because I have thinning hair I asked my laser specialist one day if she had any tips. (In case this helps, I have been struggling with it for well over a decade now thanks to medication-acquired hypothyroidism and other unfortunately unavoidable rx side effects as well as stress and genetics and who knows what else, and it's gotten increasingly worse.) Well, the dermatologist she works for (who has over 30 years of experience and is also a highly renowned plastic surgeon) says if you're treating this at home use a LASER CAP if at all possible and combine that with MEN'S minoxidil 5% twice a day for the maximum effect (! my new derm says the same thing so this must be the new gold standard for women and I assume men too!)And If minoxidil causes too much irritation try rosemary oil because there's some promising research there, but she said definitely try a laser cap/helmet if you can swing it $-wise.. I was a little disheartened because I'd seen these go for hundreds or even thousands and I knew I could never afford one. Then Prime Day came. I stumbled across Crazy Grow for a reasonable price and eagerly purchased it. I haven't been using it long obviously--Prime Day was only in July 11-12--but I really don't think I'm imagining it speeding up the re-growth process. I use it twice a week as directed and it's totally non-invasive, unless you count wearing it as invasive! It sits comfortably on the head, not too tight, and does its thing. It's really easy to use. Charges quickly and then you press the button for 3 seconds for it to come on (and 3 seconds to turn off.) It's harmless, no side effects, and easy to store in between use.I maybe wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for the 12 month warranty. That's always a good sign. I really recommend trying it. There's a lot of research to back up laser treatment for thinning hair. From what I understand, laser caps such as this one make the cells responsible for hair growth stronger. Drs are for it, there's a nice warranty, no side effects, you can use with other treatments without any problem--there's nothing to lose really! Just use it as directed and unless your hair loss is at a very advanced stage (like you're pretty much bald) it's quite likely to yield benefits.Oh and it should be obvious--I hope!--that the pics attached are before/after!

I have had this for about 2 months and it started out really well. I definitely felt that it was helping but a day or two ago, it just stopped working. It won't fully charge or turn on now and I have tried everything. I guess you get what you pay for. It was cheap and basically died right after the return window. I really wish it would still work. It's been a real let down.

Received cap and fits great easy to charge. Easy to insert into cap. Haven’t had it long enough to have any results will update.

I bought this item a while back and just used it for the first time a few days ago. The instructions are easy to follow but not clear as it does not specify what is the need for the extra stickers. The system stopped functioning after one time use and even though it gets charged the red light no longer come on after multiple attempts. In the small handbook it asks to call customer service with similar issues but no phone number is listed on the box or any where else. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

The fit is comfortable and easy to turn on/off and charge. Hope after a few months I see a definite benefit! So far so good! Lower cost than other caps!

This product is a rip-off. It initially worked well. In 30 days, after the return period has expired, it crashed. The user manual has no manufacturer information or warranty info to contact for support or return which leaves you with no alterative but to take the loss. Obviously a scam item & I am surprised that Amazon would even offer it. Pay more to get a quality product.Don't fall for the low price like I did.

Super comfortable and Very easy to use. I love that is wireless and i can use it at home or outside and nobody knows im doing my hair therapy. I like the timer that automatically turns the hat off after 20min of use so i don't have to worry. Very good price compared to others on the market!

I love it when it works, but...Lights go off in less than 10 minutes (after being fully charged). Can't tell that they've stopped until I remove the hat.One row of lights has stopped working after just one month.I don't have a lot of confidence in this product. Disappointed.UPDATE: Now, after having it a little more than a month, the cap does not work AT ALL. Booo!
