12" Slimline SlimMaster Metal Frame Letterbox 36/70 in WHITE

Great product! We needed a slim metal letterbox replacement as our current one was broken and allowing a lot of cold air in. It would also flap and make a lot of noise when it was windy. I couldn't find the right size letterbox locally and came across this on Amazon. It was very quick and easy to fit. Its a hinged flap so doesn't allow any cold air to come in. Wish we changed this earlier! Great product, you wont be disappointed!

I bought this item as it appeared to be a direct replacement for the one I already had, that was past its best. It was great and fitted exactly where the other one had so I now have a draft free hallway. This item is metal framed and has metal flaps with reasonably strong springs. Strong enough to keep the wind from lifting the letterbox and keep the draft out but not too strong that the postman cannot get our letters through with reasonable ease. Although I thought this was slightly expensive it’s exactly what I needed.

Arrived this morning and fitted before lunchtime. I had checked the dimensions of the cut-out on the door by taking one side of the old letterbox off before ordering. I realised the dimensions would allow a straight swap so I ordered the product and it arrived the next day through prime. It was a very easy swap and took just minutes. The quality of this item is similar to that replaced which had lasted for well over ten years and I hope for similar life on this one.If you are looking for an easy straight swap I would advise you to do the same and remove one side of the old letterbox as you can then check the exact opening size rather than trying to get an approximate size of the cut opening that is in the door, with the old letterbox still fitted.

I found it hard to install software...took it to PC world in the end,it took them 20 mins.once installed,work fine.

This is for a "slimline" door which I have struggled to find a suitable letterbox for as ours was damaged and allowing a chilly draft to get in during the winter months. Just be aware that the measurements of the internal section aren't quite the measurements provided, they seem to be very slightly smaller but it shouldn't cause any issues. However it does not have nylon draft excluders as detailed in the description just insulated padding on the inside of one of the flaps.The quality is good and it serves its purpose just take great care when measuring and be prepared to make some slight adjustments to the hole currently cut in your door as they rarely are an exact fit.

Correct size, great product, installed in 10 mins, looks great.
