Seems decent quality and holds a knot well. "Seems" might not be a good word enough for though.
So listen, I got this item at zero cost through the Vine programme, that doesn't mean it gets a positive review though. User reviews are important, they're a gem of the internet age and we should use them, so here comes an honest one.In the box:You get the rope, accurately lengthed, in a factory sealed air-tight bag, itself in a resealable bag. It's coiled, of sorts.Build quality:This is big question isn't it. I mean with a rope advertised using words like "Static Safety Rock Climbing Rope, Fire Rescue Parachute Rope, Escape Rope, Rappelling Rope" you want assured quality. Assured quality comes from reputable names and ISO and PPE ratings. This rope claims to have the PPE ratings and honestly it DOES feel fair quality. The outer sheathing seems much like all weather rope and I suspect UV and water resistant. In use:I rigged it on my harness and it felt fine. Very little stretch, given it's a static line though if it were to stretch at all I'd just bin it and this didn't. Petzl ascender works well with it too. Friction fall arrest devices worked fine too. It feeds well enough through a standard eared figure eight descender.Pictured above with a figure eight knot, and figure eight loop. The loop knot was easy enough to dress on a new rope (which are stiffer). There's another photo of a figure eight knot cinched down as tight as I could get it and the rope showed no sign of deforming on itself.I cold cut it to see the cores. Good luck counting them, but there's some macro photos if you want to see. One photo freshly cut, one seared.Overall impressions:This was a difficult one to review. Look, I offer NO safety assurances here. We each take our own safety on our own personal judgement every time we rope ourselves off. It's no joke to have your line fail, trust me on this.So yeah, this is a difficult one to review because honestly the rope looks and feel pretty good ... but there'll come a moment when you have to commit and lean back on it, at height. There's something else too, the price. This is cheap rope in terms of consumer cost. Whilst high price doesn't always mean high quality, I understand that, but rope usually costs more than this. What I'm trying to say is there are a few things to consider. For the price, it might be worth ordering some and judging for yourself.Would I use it? For certain applications, yes I think so. I can't attest to the manufacturing quality, but equally I can't find much wrong with it at first glance. I'd like to test it a little more though, but I wanted to bang out this quick review early on to give folks an idea at least.

Substantial rope
While I wouldn't necessarily choose this rope when abseiling down a 200 ft cliffI do trust it to sufficiently to break a fall from out of a 40ft treeWhether it will or not, I'm not at presently able to confirm; but it gives everyappearance of being a very substantial rope which seems to work well with astandard fall arrestesting/absailing devicemichael adams

Very thick, sturdy and versatile depending on your needs.
This is a thick and sturdy vibrant orange rope that is true to size. Comes sealed in a resealable bag that is useful for storage. When untwining, the rope doesn’t tangle and is easy to handle. It’s also easy to tie knots on. The material feels high quality with no bumps or kinks throughout.I got this rope for towing things around and it's super strong. The rope remained intact during windy and rainy weather without problems. No shredding either which I usually experience with other similar ropes.I haven’t tested this for climbing purposes (not brave enough to do that!) so I can’t give safety assurances there. I do note however that when I compared to the ones external window cleaners use, this one was a bit thinner. It's great for moving heavy stuff or securing them to the car or van and for these purposes I would recommend it.

Great rope for practicing knots and lashings or a commando rope bridge
If you've ever had to practice knots or lashings with 550 cord, you will really appreciate this rope. We used it for round, square, diagonal, and shear lashings for scout competitions. We also used it on our ninja course as a command one rope bridge. Very great rope that fuses fine when cut and at the best price you will find.
