Very good quality!
When I first receive this package, I noticed how heavy it was. This thing has some decent wait to this I said the package weighed 1.5 pounds. After taking it out and inspecting it, it seems like very good quality and I love how it has a little section cut out so that it fits comfortably around your nose. I got this for my mom said she frequently experiences headaches and she says that it’s been working great for her! I also noticed that even though it says ice healer, you can also put this in the microwave for 20 seconds with 10 second intervals until your desired temperature! I just store in the freezer when not in use since it takes about two hours to get it nice and cold.

Luv luv luv it
So my daughter and I get heat stroke easy. Which leads to ice packs and cold wet rags and migraines. This isn't just for adults. It fits her tiny head. It's stretchy too. Granted it's kinda long for her head but she just pulls it up and it stays in place. The gel like feel is great and soft. No hard ridges from ice packs and no wetness from cold rags. It has some weight to it though. I haven't tried the heating of it yet cuz it is summer but I bet it will double as an awesome cold or hot pack for achey muscles.

Lifesaver!
Highly recommend! it! It offers the perfect fit and compressed pressure. Plus, the flexible gel-like material ensures even temperature distribution in the head. As an added bonus, it has a light-blocking feature, making it great for travels too. Perfect to lie down for a while at room temperature and relax. Goodbye headaches!

Comfortable and soft; cold works better than hot
The ‘Ice Healer Migraine Relief Cap’ allows for both cold and hot head compression. The product is geared toward migraine relief, but could be used for any reason you want cold or hot applied to your head. When lying flat, the cap measures 6 inches top to bottom, 7.25 inches across the top, and 9.25 inches across the bottom. A clear plastic heavy duty zip-lock bag is provided for use when storing the cap in the freezer (this is in addition to the packaging pouch which is also zip-lock).The cap is covered in a very soft material which doesn’t scratch your face or pull your hair. I have a fairly large head but had no issue placing the cap on my head or having my nose fit into the provided nose ‘slot’. The cap is heavy on your head but not to the point of being uncomfortable, and the cap does a good job on my head of staying put - in other words, it didn’t tend to slip down on my head. After two hours in the freezer, the cap had a satisfying cold to it which did feel relaxing on my head. I don’t think I would have wanted it any colder, but you could certainly leave the cap in your freezer indefinitely and take it out a bit early to let it warm a touch before using. After two hours in the freezer, the cap stayed cold for a good 30 minutes. I had less success with heating the cap in the microwave. After two 20 second ‘zaps’, the ends of the two gel pads inside the cap were very warm, but the middles of the two gel pads were still room temperature. (This despite having a turntable in my microwave.) I was afraid of heating the cap too much on the ends if I continued using the microwave. Perhaps if I let the cap sit a bit the temperature would have equalized throughout the gel pads, but it is also true that the gel pads cooled down pretty fast out of the microwave. Probably I could achieve a working heat method by experimenting some more, but it is certainly true that cooling the cap is easier than heating it - really not surprising.

Helpful for Headaches
I ordered the Ice Healer Migraine Relief Cap because I get headaches frequently and cold compresses have always been useful. The Ice Healer cold compress cap stretches over the head well, and blocks light when pulled down all the way. That is very useful because sensitivity to light common when I have headaches. My first impressions were that it was soft and the gel felt pleasant to the touch. After chilling the product per the instructions, I was a little concerned that it might prove to be too cold next to the skin, but when I put it on, I was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely cold, but not uncomfortably so. It was also just as flexible as it was when it was warm. It also stays cool for a decent amount of time. The cap did provide the kind of relief I usually get with ice bags, perhaps a bit better. The coverage area of cooling is much greater and I can relax without having to adjusting often. It also remained in contact with the skin without any slipping or feeling of constriction. This compress is definitely helpful to me and I wish I had gotten one sooner.

Stays cold and soft.
I keep this Ice Healer in the freezer so it’s ready to go on the day I have a horrible sinus or no sleep headache. This stretchy soft freezing cold cap is soothing yet not too cold. It conforms to the head without compressing your nose. It stay cold enough for 10 minutes and slowly dissipates to cool. The recommended time to head the cap is 15 minutes. It refreezes in 2 hours. It comes with a thick zipper closure bag to help avoid picking up freezer smells. I keep that bag inside it’s ziplock packaging bag and so far no odors. What's nice is you can also heat this head cap. Many times my sinus headaches feel better with heat. The cap is notched for your nose so you can fully cover the sinus cavity and forehead. You could use this on other parts of your body. It is refreshing to tired eyes, tension headaches etc. It does not stay cold as long as an ice pack would, but it will mold nicely against any body part. Those who suffer headaches or migraines will appreciate the natural relief this cap offers. I do wish it had a washable cover. The gel pad is not washable but can be wiped off. It’s very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend.
