It has it's purpose
While I did return it as I mistook it's battery size for another fan. I will say it's not for warehousing work as the wind speeds are at best good at speed 3 if it gets any hotter after that you will not fill it. So at best 75°-85° and maybe 90° degree heat you might get some use out of this fan. As for the noise its mostly quiet unless you're using it in an quiet environment like an office, then it will be very noisy. Most fans and even 10,000+ battery fans are not louder than most people's voice so noise is never an issue. As for weight it's not that heavy around the neck it is a little bit. Only down side is the button could stick out a bit more so it would be easier to press if you have it clicked to the back.

3 speeds, works well
Bought this for my teen daughter who is always hot. It comes with a belt clip (I think the unit is too heavy for it to stay on her pants), and a lanyard attachment. It definitely charges up and works well. Love the 3 speeds.

Decent cooling, loud fan, learning curve
I volunteered to help with some outdoor-in-the-sun/heat activities and wanted to find something to help make it more bearable. This little unit seemed like the perfect fit. It's a great little unit with 3 fan speeds, a lanyard and belt clip, and even the ability to act as a backup phone charger. It does help keep you cooler than otherwise, but there are a few things that could be improved upon or to know before using that would make the experience better. The device itself offers a number of features, so it's not that surprising that it's a bit heavier than ideal. I found that on the waistband of my shorts it pulled them outward slightly both when placed in front and in back. I did not attempt to use the lanyard yet but it may have been a better option with the clothes I was wearing that day. It also has a clip that helps keep your shirt away from the intake. I think that was my biggest flaw in the first use - not realizing that feature existed. The efficiency and cooling action would have been greater had I not had my shirt over it blocking the intake. Even still the airflow was a nice addition, and for me it felt better on my back than front. As noted above I'd want to try it around my neck to keep my upper body cool - and for many of us women our anatomy may help with giving the intake space from clothing without using the clip (if you catch my drift). The unit draws attention, and mostly positive with people remarking how smart it is, and how they too want one. But the one downside is that I wanted to keep it on the highest speed due to the heat and physicality of the work, but it does get a bit loud on high - so it's great for outdoors in most scenarios, but there may be some where it's too much and would need to be on low to prevent disruption. In any case, it's a great unit and I would recommend it with the caveats noted above.

Good cooling and use as a power bank.
This waist fan has three settings for fan speed. The highest setting provides a nice cooling airflow. The unit itself is fairly lightweight (checking in at 9.3 oz.) and easy to operate. The fan motor is fairly quiet at low speed. At medium speed and high speed, I consider it to be noisy. Or at least noisier than other personal fans. I wouldn't want to run this and also listen to music or the TV. The noise level at high speed might be okay while working outside. The fan clips easily unto my belt and the cooling is directed up to the face area. There is also what appears to be a secondary clip, that says Solo Personal Waist Fan on the front of the unit, but I am not sure that it serves any purpose other than decorative. The charging of this unit is somewhat slow, even when I chose to use a fast charging system. Expect this to take several hours. However, the fan life does seem to be good and the unit is also useful as a power bank to charge other products. So charging time is slow, but lifetime for use is very good. It would be nice if this product had some type of stand so it could be set on a table and directed upward at the user. Perhaps the waist clip could be modified to accomplish this. Unfortunately this really has to be used by clipping on the waist or held to direct the airflow. Lastly, there is no specific place to attach the lanyard. It is supposed to go around the waist clip, but a specific attachment point would be a better approach. Overall the product seems sturdy and will run for many hours on a full charge. However noise concern cause me to rate this a 4.

Cool portable fan
I get hot easily. When I am hiking in the woods on humid mornings there is nothing more that I could ask for than a nice breeze. This handy portable fan provides exactly that. It has a sturdy belt clip or it can be attached to a lanyard, however I would not recommend the lanyard if you are being active while you are wearing it. Also, personally I was only able to really benefit from the fan if my shirt was long enough to hang over the top of the fan on my belt while I was walking. I started out wearing it on my belt at my side and I got some cooling at level 3 (there are 3 total levels with 3 being the strongest), although since it was on my side it wasn't a very balanced feeling. I ended up moving it to the back of my belt which had a nicer cooling effect but make sure your belt/pants are tight because this although this charger isn't heavy, it is heavy enough to make your drawers droop. Also at level 2 and 3 it is pretty noisy, so if you are looking for a peaceful walk in the woods, you may feel like someone is following you with a vacuum cleaner. I like that it has a substantial battery in it so even at the highest fan setting it lasts for 7 hours and it can be used as a 6000mah power bank in a pinch for your adventures in the wilderness! You can only use it to charge other devices via the USB-A port which in my testing produced 5w of output so no fast charging of devices. In any case if you are looking for a portable fan this is a solid choice.
