RADACutlery 6-Piece Utility Steak Knife Gift Set, Made in USA, Silver Handles

I discovered Rada products several years ago. I love all the pieces I have, and have purchased several items as gifts. They may be a bit pricier than some, but well worth it, and I’ve purchased others,,,,then disappointed. I recently purchased this set of steak knives. Already had a set of serrated knives, so decided to opt for these this time. Stay sharp for so long, and I keep them sharpened when needed, as I also purchased their knife sharpener. Great quality and grip is just right.

Wanted to get a great set of knives for a high-end beach rental property, but didn't want to break the bank doing it. And more importantly, even though it's a high-end vacation rental, they're still renters and will put everything in the dishwasher and there's nothing you can do to stop that. So after a lot of research I ended up with these. We've been using them for a month so far and all the friends and family who have been down have raved about them as the best steak knives they have ever used in their lives. They don't TEAR at the steak, they slice through it like butter... I think one or two of the 18 knives we bought had rust spots after the first time through the dishwasher, but the rest of them are fine after dozens of washes.I literally use them for everything (steak, chopping veggies, cutting limes, opening bags, etc...) even though we also bought their regular knife set as well as these steak knives. They still seem as sharp as the day we got them. I also bought the cheap Rada knife sharpener, which I love, but I've only sharpened one of the knives so far (after I used it to cut up a big cardboard box because I was too lazy to get my utility knife). A few swipes through the sharpener and it was good as new. I liked the fact that they were not serrated so that they could be sharpened regularly to keep that WOW factor for years. We will stay at our rental ourselves a few times throughout the year and I'll just swipe them all through the sharpener each time we are here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I initially ordered this knife set from Amazon a few years ago because they were inexpensive AND made in USA. I was initially a bit disappointed when I realized the handle was not wood but then I loved them for that reason - they can go in the dishwasher. I recently lost the set in a divorce (we both wanted them even after many years of use!). I was happy to discover that I could purchase a new set that are just as high quality. I use them for almost everything in the kitchen and rarely use my expensive knives. They are long lasting with sharp blades but they are inexpensive enough that I don't have to worry about them. The handles are a nice size too.

These knives along with the occasionaluse of a very inexpensive Rada sharpener are without a doubt the sharpest knives I have ever handled. I have several of these knives and every one of them, every time I use it, is like pulling out the surgeon’s scalpel. Everyone I have purchased these knives for swears by them. If you like your knives razor sharp then you should absolutely take Rada out for a spin.

I purchased this knife set because I bought our first Rada knife over 30 years ago for $1.00 and it is still perfectly sharp and used everyday. My original full set of Rada knives was purchased about 20 years ago and I use all of the knives. When I saw the new knives with the black handles I just had to have them. I ordered a nice set and also a set of steak knives. The real secret to my love of these knives is the little sharpener that is easy to use and makes your knife cut like it is new right out of the box and I mean every single time. These are lightweight, which I love, they slice right thru veggies lickity split. In the knife world, these are very low in cost but in the "I love these knives" world, they are the very best!

Very sharp nice knives

Have used Rada for years. Manufactured 50 miles from me in the Midwest. They stay sharp and cut clean. Would recommend the sharpener. A few swipes and good as new. Best to hand wash may be only negative.
