IGK Pick Me Up Maximum Lift Root Boost Spray

The perfect texturizing spray.. does amazing at adding volume

I can’t with this product!!!! It is my go to for texture and lift. As I age and my hair is a bit thinner it really give that natural volume and it is w a matte finish so your hair doesn’t even look like there is product in it. You of course can feel it but it kind of feels like a dry shampoo and offers a lot of the properties of a dry shampoo as well. I love it and would recommend to anyone to use

The media could not be loaded. Doesn't make my hair dirty while it truly gives me volume. The smell is not bad but I wish it was not as strong or no smell at all.

Started using many of the IGK products and just love the scent! I need some help with volume and this definitely does the trick without making my hair feel sticky. Will continue to purchase.

Nozzle too hard to press. Customer service robot no help. Said try troubleshooting but didn’t say how. Asked for credit card number to speak to computer tech. Went thru this scenarios twice. Disappointing service.

Thinning hair has driven me to try products that make my hair appear thicker while my hair fills back in. IGK Pick Me Up “root boost” does make my hair look thicker and fuller. With one long spray my hair stands up higher and my hair is suddenly “bigger.” I followed the directions carefully: spray, wait 30 seconds, gently work the product through the hair. During the remainder of the first day, once my hair was in place, I enjoyed the sense of having thicker hair. After sleeping with it in my hair, on the second day my hair was a bit difficult to manage and appeared duller. The product from the day prior made my hair feel a bit sticky, kind of like hair spray does. Running a comb through it was not a smooth process. I thought that perhaps I had used too much of the IGK product. So, I decided to wash my hair though I usually wash it every other day; my hair is colored, and daily washing does it no favors.But I tried the product again the next day, using considerably less, and again it perked up the roots and my hair looked good. On the second day, once again, I felt as if I needed to wash it. This routine of daily hair washing is not sustainable for me.Looking at the label, which has some very small script, I was pleased by the Leaping Bunny (no testing on animals) logo. I strongly believe that animals should not be abused this way. But when I read the ingredients list, I am bothered that it begins with hydrofluorocarbon 152a and butane. Also included is Isobutane. I am glad that animals are not subjected to these chemical propellants, but I don’t want to be spraying them around my head or near my lungs, either. IGK’s “Pick Me Up” also has “transparent microfibers that act like invisible tubes that grip to hair.” If a consumer like me has a respiratory concern, will this invisible tiny tube material stick to the lung lining even if one is not “deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents”—a phrase that comes under the section on the reverse side of the container under “Warning: Flammable.” It will be airborne when one depresses the spray button-- as will the butane, isobutane, and hydrofluorocarbon 152a.I have decided that though the product does have a great first day root-lift result, I probably won’t continue using it. I would prefer a method of delivery other than an aerosol can that requires such propellants, and I favor a root-lifter that is less sticky after the first day.

This is yet another example of loving everything I have tried by this company.

This product gives my hair shine & keeps the frizz down. It make my hair feel so good !
