As advertised! Recommended ✅
This is 100% tung oil, I used on pine, oak, cypress, cedar, and cherry. It worked like a charm. Super easy to apply with a brush, smell is not that much, it is a pretty thick and viscus oil. Not sticky at all and it does take a few days to dry. But the finish on the wood once dry is very worth the wait. I recommend this product ✅

pure
This is pure, high quality, Tung oil. I have been finishing wood for 50+ years. I have learned # 1 is to use quality materials. I can tell it's fresh, you can smell the difference, as old oils tend to smell with age. This product is rich and thick, I thinned it down with pure orange oil and real pure turpentine,1part tung oil and 1part each of the others and it applied nice and even on hard sugar maple, sugar maple doesn't like to soak up anything evenly. I buy a half gallon at a time, after thinning out to my liking of use, I get way more than a gallon of very high quality finish! hopefully my time on earth will allow me to continue purchasing. thank you.

Good oil - and a lot of it
This is food grade tung oil (it says), so I bought it for my neglected cutting boards. Did a dandy job. They sucked it right up, and after the third coat, they were beautiful. This is a big bottle - way more than needed for a couple of cutting boards. My teak dresser and bedside table are calling out to me…

good quality
good deal for the money and good quality. I don`t have a world of experience with tung oil but I`m very pleased with this as far as what I`m getting for results. I`ve done 5 coats onto a sanded surface and it is a quality and very fine looking finish

Concrete countertops
I bought this for my concrete kitchen countertops. (I applied about 10 coats, as the concrete kept absorbing it.) It holds up well, but I have to reapply it to areas where the soap has been on for more than a few hours. I'm careful not to put anything hot or chemicals on it. I assume it would damage it. It repels water. Overall, I'm pleased with the results.

Easy to use, no chemical odor
This is the first time I recall using tung oil, and I found it easy to use. There is no chemical smell like there with so many finishes. It brushed on easily and dried in a reasonable time. The tung oil brought out the grain and color of the oak that I used it on, giving it a slightly darker color.

No more squeaky tongue!
Quality tongue oil. It's not the most easy-to-use finish but it is one of the most beautiful. It made the mahogany I was using it on really pop.
