Beast!!! This thing was amazing!
I bought this 4½" core hole bit to drill through a six inch stem wall to accommodate a drain line for a home addition. This bit was legit! It cruised right through 50 year old concrete with large aggregate. I used it with a 1-1/4"-7 Male to 1/2" Shank Core Drill Adapter on a couple of harbor freight drills. The first one (a hammer drill in drill only mode) lasted about 4" of the hole before nearly catching fire. I went to harbor freight and bought two more drills with a 1/2" chuck on clearance, but thankfully the first one did it. I set up a centering rig to get the bit started (see my pics) and had no trouble at all getting going. Keeping the thing aligned, water going in properly, and not breaking my wrists were the tricky parts. All told, even with the half hour side quest to harbor freight mid drill, it was over and done with from unboxing to pics in roughly two hours. I would say actual productive drilling time was max 30 minutes.

WORKS EXCELLENT!
Cuts quick and smooth. Got it for the depth of cut. Couldn't be happier! Great value! Be sure to use water cooling when cutting cement.

Works as advertised, you need a large adapter if you don’t own a coring drill
I ordered this for two reasons. The first was for a DIY mud Jack on a small, pump house slab. The second is to bring in pipe for water and electrical on the inside of an existing garage. I ended up needing an adapter to use it with the equipment I own. I found one on Amazon for a reasonable price that fit my hole hawg. A hammer drill would have been better but the adapters for them are pretty expensive for the amount of times I’ll use it. I finally got around to putting some holes in the slab I jacked up today. It cuts well and went through 6 inches of concrete in 10 to 15 minutes. Starting the core was challenging and took almost as long as the coring itself but once I got it going it just worked itself through. Not a bad product to take care of a couple of unusual projects.

did a great job
I had to run electrical wires through a foundation in my shed, and this core bit did the trick for cutting through a 6" pad with no trouble. It did what I wanted. 5 stars from me

DURABLE!
Needed to core a 1" hole through a concrete foundation stem wall, and picked this up from Amazon to get the job done. Half the price or less of some competing core bits, this really impressed me with its durability and quality. The cutting speed was average, but the bit held up well to a 12" thick concrete wall with little degredation of the diamond cutting end. I bought this for a single use purpose, but it has a ton of life left in it after that. The cut it made was surprisingly clean, uniform, and finished. Overall, highly recommend this diamond coring bit.
