Biscotti Brothers Bakery Pizzelle Cookie, Anise, 6 Ounce

When I was a child my babysitter was from Italy and was the best cook I ever knew. Her anise pizzelle cookies were so good; I could not stop myself from eating them! These are so close to her recipe. She used anise seed that was such an authentic flavor enriched cookie. Even though these are served at Christmas time, she made them year round. I like the thought of a balanced cookie with very little sugary sweetness and a thin,crispy cookie anyone can eat without difficulty. Well done!

Few were broken in transit.

I left other reviews on other Italian anise flavored cookies I have purchased these cookies in the store and what was delivered is closest to that quality of store-bought and fresh maybe not freshest but certainly more edible than the other cookies I have recently purchased I'm usually very pleased with over the years purchases I've made from Amazon however their cookies are not returnable and I can go and purchase these in the city at one of the larger supermarkets one just doesn't know how long cookies like this or other Foods sit on a warehouse Shelf and veering temperatures but these were quite acceptable flavorful and crunchy

Great anise flavor

Again I ordered and received a brand of cookie that's not the usual thing I'd have in my cabinet. I was extremely disappointed as they were broken into pieces even though the box was in great shape. It got worse when I tried to taste a broken piece, it did not taste good to me in the least. This is just my opinion but they tasted horrible, so horrible that I just threw away all the broken pieces because they weren't worth digging through to find something edible. The taste made them inedible anyway.

They tasted great but over half were broken into small chunks. Packaged into a box with nothing to keep them from bouncing around and breaking.

I really enjoy them I put a little powered sugar on them try that it’s good Please cancel my subscription I wii order them when I want them CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION PLEASE. I AM CRAZY ABOUT THEM MY GRANDMA MADE THEM WITH A SINGLE IRON ON THE STOVE . SHE DID IT WHEN WE WERE ALL TOGETHER DOWN THE SHORE SHE WOULD LOCK THE KITCHEN DOOR THERE WHERE 9 GRANDCHILDREN. WHEN SHE WAS DONE SHE WOULD HIDE THEM SHE KNEW WE WOULD EAT HER ALL SHE CONTROLLED THE PIZZELL’s

Product came is a large box with no stuffing to keep it from sliding around in the box. All broken.
