Good ways to control yourself, and a good way to learn to calm down.
My name is Brenna, I liked this book because I struggle with getting mad so easily, this book is also a great book for bedtime and a learning experience for kids that think everything is unfair. I would like to recommend this book to parents that have kids that have ADHD, ADD or anxiety. I rated this book 5 β's because I can relate, and I understand that everything seems unfair, but I learned that not everything is going to be easy for everyone. I love this book and it is inspiring to me because it shows you why God created this world and what you can do in those situations to calm the kid(s) down.Sincerely, Brenna Kay.

Great illustrations coupled with a good short story.
Attractive illustrations on each page. The story is told in simple rhyme. Although it is quite short, it's fun to read. One typing error was spotted on location 7 where he starts packing his bags and 'fillTing' another. Hopefully the author will get that small typing error changed soon.

Good examples but a bit unrealistic
I liked that counting to 10 was a solution for anger. The boy changed behavior slowly but surely. A bit. Unrealistic sister goodie goodie overkill. Rhymed most of the time is my favorite part.

Discipline is not a four letter word, but this author doesn't seem to know that.
Well, it's a good idea, but I don't think it would really be that easy. Nor do I believe a child should continually get away with such bad behavior. This little monster would more than likely have had to go in time out at least once for this to be believable. No child is going to get THAT upset (turning red) and calm himself over and over again. And screaming and yelling at Mom and Dad with no consequences? Um, no. That behavior is NOT allowed! There is a time for sending a child to his room - NOT back outside.Again, this author continues to have books with great illustrations and ideas, but discipline really isn't a four letter word. However, it is something that unfortunately appears to be a totally foreign concept for this author. That's a pity.

The Tantrum Monster
Thanks so very much Mr Gordon for another great book. You do such a awesome job teaching children about their feelings and how to control them. As usual my granddaughter and I enjoyed this book in your series of books on feelings. I would recommend this to parents to teach children how feelings affect their bodies and the rest of the people in the family. I gave this book five stars and itβs very important to learn about your feelings early in life. ππππππππ

Excellent
I thoroughly enjoy reading these type of children books, for they always teach my children an important life lesson in a simple and easy way that they can understand. It's important for children today to have morals, and the only way that they will obtain them is if they are taught from a young age.

Good read
I have a 2 year old who throws tantrums and I know she won't understand this book now but it is still a good bed time story. Our oldest doesn't as much but it is a good reminder to count to 10 when you get mad or frustrated. Both of my girls (2&6) enjoyed the story and the illustrations that went with them. My girls and I are looking forward to reading more books by this author soon.
