Great product!
I didn't buy this for its traditional use when fishing. I bought to catch a crazy fast convict cichlid out of my 150 gallon aquarium!! After spending an hour chasing it around with a little 5 inch aquarium net I gave up. Found this and figured go big or go home! Haha caught him in about 5 minutes! Worked great. Awesome purchase for larger aquariums!

Sturdy and lightweight
I fish quite a bit on the lake we are on so I have used a few types of nets. What I really like about this net is that it is extendable and comfortable to grip. Those are the top features. This net is lightweight aluminum, strong, and floats if you happen to drop it in. I have used it now on several fishing outings and it is my favorite net, compared to older models. Oh, and it is a really cool blue that reflects in the sun if you happen to need to locate it floating on the water. That happened once. It is defiantly an upgrade and I have been super happy with!

Great little fishing net
This is a neat small landing net, great for when you're fishing from the boat or on the shore. What we really like about it is that it really does float (some of our nets don't). It takes up very little room when folded, which is important both for transport and then for stowing in our small boat when we don't need it.We're almost exclusively using this to fish the local rivers, because it's so small, lightweight and easy to transport, but it will be some of the first gear we pack if we travel very far on a fishing trip.Recommended.

You'll be happy that you bought this one day!
The media could not be loaded. I think this is a great deal for $20.44!!! That is the price, with coupon applied, at the time of this review. That is an incredible bargain for any fishing net this size with this weave, nevermind, one that also FOLDS UP, FLOATS, & EXTENDS! If you need a new net or are looking to add a net to your gear then I Honestly and Sincerely suggest you take a hard look at this one because it is seriously worth considering…....."considering" until the point where you actually just buy it. I have paid way more for less in a fishing net in the past and until you do that yourself, you can’t truly understand that this is really a great deal at the price. The folding pivot has a large contact point against the extension arm so there will be plenty of backbone there to lift your prize catch from the water without worry of breaking it. Even for Bank Fishermen this is a stellar setup because you often don’t need a net but sometimes you find a spot you want to fish and you wish you had a net on you but you never do so you have to pass up a juicy looking spot ….OR sometimes you hook up to something and just WISH YOU HAD A NET to help you land it! If you fish from the bank, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. There’s a few in my past that got in the mud or on the rocks and broke me off so close I could have almost touched them. ...and Every. Single. Time. I say the same thing! “THAT WOULDN’T HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD A NET!!!” It's always the first thing out of my mouth. I’ve learned since those days and now I pack a net, a scale and a camera every time I hit the water from a bank or boat. Bank guy and gals can pack this easily because it folds up for easy carry....and the price is so low that you can justify buying it and not feel like "you're buying something you may never use" kind of deal. So there's really no reason to not have a nice net with you if you are a Bank or Creek Fisher. If you're into the whole waders and trout thing then this would work for you too....for all the same reasons. It's small and convenient to have on you and it's REALLY affordable!Anyway, fish tales aside….this is no fish tale that I am telling you about this net being totally worth ordering. If you can't tell by now, I like my new net. I have no regrets whatsoever, even though I already have a net this size. I actually like this one better because the weave is tighter than my other one this size and that means I can keep or catch certain bait fish & crawdads with this one which makes it more useful than my triangle net folder with a larger weave. This one is also lighter so packing it isn’t an issue. It’s a “12 inch” net, so it should easily fit inside a pack along the back wall of it, on the inside or even just hung off the outside of the pack with the built in clip and carabiner.Speaking of size, here are the real world measurements of a “12 inch” net:-Net measures 15’’ Long By 11 ¼ Wide at its longest points from Inside to inside.-Fully extended from Inside the net frame to the end of the handle is 39 ½”-Not extended from Inside the net frame to the end of the handle is 30 ⅞”-Outside most points when collapsed: 16 7/78 Long By 11 ¾ (outside to outside).-Net Well is 12” Deep.I hope you found that helpful in making a purchase decision on this net. I would totally go for it. I really like mine and it should last a long long time if you don’t store it in the sun, outside for 3 years straight. I would recommend it and if it floats away faster than I can catch it, I’ll be back to order a replacement and it won’t break my heart because the price doesn’t break the bank and you actually get an item that is quite nice and that you can actually use as its intended without fear of breaking it. This one is a winner!

Good net
This has got to be one of the best budget friendly nets I've ever owned. The net is coated In rubber That makes it safer for handling fish. The rubber coating on the net also reduces hook snags. This net folds for easy transport. When I'm on the kayak I can keep the handle short. When I'm fishing from the bank I can keep the handle extended. This is a very good net for under $30.

A must have for any small boat angler.
This fishing net is simple yet packed with a lot of great features. It's super lightweight, folds down flat, and has the telescoping handle. It's not very big but that is kind of the point. This was designed with the tiny boat or kayak angler in mind. Weight and space available are important. This would work great for a bank fishing just the same. Easily would fit into a backpack. It comes with a lanyard attached to the bottom of the handle. A nice option if you just want it dragging the water behind you. Another important thing this net has is a rubber coating on the net. This insures a safer experience for the fish and, for me at least, a better chance at a successful release.I highly recommend having a net with you in general and this product does the job really well.

Great quality and sturdy aluminum telescopic and foldable fish net with rubber netting
This fishing net is made out of aluminum so it is very lightweight yet sturdy and durable. It has a telescopic pole for adjusting the length and can be folded for easy transport and storage. The rubber netting is very nice with small holes and is not sticky like others to minimize damage to the slime on fish. There is a padded foam grip with leash and clip on the end and a twist lock on the pole for locking the adjusted length. To fold it down is very easy also by just pushing down on the clip that intersects with the net frame. This is a very nice quality fishing net and a great value that I am very impressed with. It is versatile enough to be used in a boat, kayak or bank fishing and I highly recommend it to all other anglers.

Short handle
Not good for off a side of a boat too short.
