These are very nice, good quality. The color is a perfect match with the stair treads. Nice tight weave and soft under foot. Very easy install. I did purchase carpet tape to use in the install because the adhesive that's on the back doesn't seem to be strong enough.

We just put in new wooden treads. I Ordered these to protect the wood and prevent someone from slipping. They are easy to install, they look great and they adhere amazing. It feels much safer going up and down the stairs and our dog doesn’t scratch the wood. They do not have a smell, they are comfortably thin and the beige blends nicely with my medium brown wood tone. Definitely would buy again!

I've been looking at these for a while to help my college age and 2 high school aged sons from falling both up and down our wood staircase. I considered treads from Wayfair but the colors were too much, so I gave the black ones from Amazon a try. The box was one piece short of the stairway, so I decided to buy a 2nd box (and figured I would have extras down the road). However, the 2nd day after installing the black treads, I realized my mistake - every single piece of dust and dirt and fuzz showed, and apparently there is a lot more dirt on our floors, and the kids socks, than I realized. The treads are vacuumable, yes, but the thought of vacuuming daily seemed a nightmare. So, take 2 - I thought I'd try the tan color. First off, the tan color is great and matches the wood well. I removed the black treads from the stairs, cleaned the wood, and then proceeded to try and install the tan treads, only to find that the tan treads do NOT have an easy to remove backing like the black version did. The tan ones have a cellophane back with stickers that tell you to "peel from the center", which I did. About ten minutes later, still trying to get all the cellophane off of the first tread with multiple tiny pieces of cellophane stuck all over my arms and wanting to scream into the void, I realized this was not going to be as easy as the black treads. So, I gathered the treads, set them on a table, and gently scored each one around the edges, using a utility knife, to ensure a clean(er) removal of the cellophane. This approach worked, but it 10x'd the installation time. Another point to note on the tan vs. black, the adhesive isn't nearly as sticky, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to go back and install double sided carpet tape under each tread. Still, given the price and the extremely reduced amount of falls the kids have experienced, both up and down the stairs, I would buy them again.

Just what I was looking for! I put these on our vinyl stairs that were a little slippery. They are soft yet textured (not scratchy) on bare feet. So far after 2 weeks, no pieces have slipped. I bought double sided carpet tape, but haven't needed to use it yet (I cleaned the stairs with alcohol wipes first). The pieces were not exactly the same size, but are close enough. I cut out a little cardboard template from the Amazon box to help install them uniformly (an L shape). Very happy!

Easy to install and look better than expected! Really make a difference on the look of my black stairs. May buy more for another stairwell.

The media could not be loaded. I love the design of these stair treads - almost a grasscloth feel to them under foot. Yay! I gave this product three stars because of the packaging. It took me 1 hour to remove the sewn in micro thin plastic backing on each tread. There was no learning curve each tread was different. Some treads have a perforation on the back that goes all the way through the plastic and that makes removal a little easier. Most did not. I love the look of the treads but might not repurchase because of the packaging. I'm still finding little pieces of static filled plastic on stair from where I installed the treads.

I've had these on the stairs for the better part of a year now and they haven't budged or had a corner lift. Definitely worth it 👌

Potential buyers should know that these stair treads are an essential part of home safety. They are huge and have stayed put. We installed these durable pads on the basement stairs and in from the garage since we have multiple generations and pets in the house.Make sure the stair surfaces are clean, dry and free of pet hair balls for best results. If you walk around your place in bare feet or even socks, these devices are pretty (pretty...pretty) important in preventing slips and falls from carrying the laundry basket (for example) down on bare wooden stairs.
