Beautiful lamp, lovely surface finish, terrible glare
Maybe I'm still to discover how to use this lamp properly, but no amount of pulling it further up or down seems to help create a cosy atmosphere at the dining table. Either it's very low and the light is beautiful but you can't see the face of the person across from you - or you pull it up and the result is a naked bulb glaring into your eyeballs. Even a small, short bulb (equivalent of 40W) is like being at the dentist's at this proximity! Will try a diffused bulb and if that doesn't help we'll have to spoil the design but inserting a velum diffuser ... instructions / tipps from the manufacturer are non existent.
