Excellent Replacement
We bought this baffle as a replacement for what was being used in our Drolet fireplace insert. It seems as though the previous homeowners had replaced the original baffle with a metal tube they stuffed with insulation. Overtime the metal warped with the heat until at last it warped enough to cover the entire air outlet for the insert. After our house was filled with smoke due to the nonworking fireplace insert we bought this baffle to see if we could get the insert to work again. We have been using the fireplace with this new baffle for the past few weeks with almost daily fires and have not had any issues. This works great and it is comforting to know that it won't warp and affect the fireplace operation.
