Good deal... but
UPDATE APRIL 2008: been few months now, the ONLY bad point about that product is the wireless network connection!! for some reason, the connection just dies, and you'll have to restart the computer, or the router with the printer... so wasting around 10 minutes trying to set up a connection....I'd give it 3 stars instead of my original 4 for that. (end of update)Just got it today, the set up is REALLY easy, I'm using it as WiFi (via Ethernet).A wide range of options and preferences, I LOVE the two-side prints, didn't have time to try the Scanner and the Copier yet... but I'll follow up as soon as I try them.Pros:Easy Set upWide range of preferencesDouble-side printsVERY GOOD photo prints quality, and wide preferencesCons:The Ethernet cable is not included, is it too much to add such an essential and cheap element???Sometimes the Printer seems to disconnect from the PC but it last last than few seconds and then connects again, and that didn't affect the printing orders.I'll add follow up later...Over all, so far I recommend it, and I'm happy about it... a

This product did not work from the moment we installed ...
This product did not work from the moment we installed it. The ink system failure error came on the screen. Which means it wouldn't work anymore.

Okay but not great
Worked great for a couple of years. HP quality is not what it once was. Rollers stopped pulling the paper in. Not designed to be cleaned easily, nor repairable. This is a 'use then throw away when it doesn't work right' type printer. More like Lexmark type quality.

A Printer for All Seasons
I purchased the HP Photosmart C6280 recently and was waiting for time to hook it up to my computer (XP). My son came over to visit and I mentioned that I had got a new printer but hadn't taken the time to install it (I secretly hoped he would volunteer to do it). He had it out of the box and I was printing with it within a half hour. So I concluded that it didn't give any problems during a simple installation.I then decided to print some 4 x 6 photos with it. It has a separate little container for photo paper. It took approximately 90 seconds to get a good quality print. For those with children there are a number of "School Papers" available. One can print graph paper, music staffs, mazes and a variety of ruled paper sheets.I think if you like HP products, this one would be a good one at a good price.

Don't recommend HP if you have a MAC
I have an HP Photosmart C6280 printer which I bought quite a few years ago. I use a MAC running Mavericks and I just can't get the printer to work on over the network connection. I can print a test page but that is all. Don't recommend HP if you have a MAC!

Print Quality Pictures
This is a Photosmart printer, so of course all of my pictures came out beautiful - better than ones that I had printed at Walgreens or CVS. Colors are brilliant, really pops out. Comes with a software CD for installation - I can't remember if mine came with a USB cable or not, I mean, I already had a printer USB cable so it didn't matter to me either way. Never really had any problems with jams. There's a photo tray besides from the regular paper tray. Paper feeds are face down. I gave it four star instead of five because this is suppose to be an upgrade from an older model HP Photosmart printer of mine, but that one came with everything - USB cable, CD software, ink, and even photo paper - and there were more options for me during printing, like scaling down the size of a photo, for example, I could print a 4x6 at 75% and the picture would come out smaller, but still great quality; this was great because otherwise you'd have to use 8x10 to print stuff like wallet size or whatever else.
