Will save you $$
This thing WORKS! Very sharp blade. EZ to adjust length due to 4' sections. I was able to get WAY UP in trees. A nice touch is a built in handle on the saw, so it can be used by itself without the extention pieces. Some pointers:1. when you ave every section connected, the best way to get it into the air to place the bottom up against the tree trunk, then walk the pole up like you would an extention ladder.2. I would loctite the joints the night before you plan to cut, to keep them locked in. This is my only complaint for this product-some of the joints would work themselves loose, then the saw wouldn't stay straight. If I was designing this, I would use 4 sections 6 feet long, instead of 6 section that are 4 feet long. This would eliminate a couple joints that have potential to work lose. The 4' sections do allow for easier packing and carrying, (in the included canvas bag) however.

This thing works great.
It is lightweight and heavy at the same time plus easy to use but quite the workout. If it weren't lightweight I would have never been able to lift the 27 foot long pole up in the air and you have to be ready when the limb snaps because the pole is coming down too unless you are very prepared. At the same time it is very easy to use in that it is a saw that you push and pull but you are going to use lots of muscle when cutting limbs. But once you get the saw positioned and can get a push/pull motion going it will do most of the cutting work for you because it is a good and sharp saw.I am not in great shape but I was able to get some limbs cut. I also found having someone there ready to help catch the pole once you are bring it down is very helpful. No worries about batteries, plugs or fuel.Very sturdy poles and solid built.I don't know if any powered version that will give you this amount of reach so it wins all the way around. It is always ready to cut more limbs.I recommend this pole saw for sure and having used electric pole saws I feel this really isn't much more of a workout to use.

As described…
Used it to reach and cut a 5” branch from an oak tree. Yes the assembled pole is awkward and yes it isn’t light but it did the job quite well. Saved us hundreds and it’s stored in the nifty storage bag.

Good value
This saw is a great value for the price. Cuts with ease. It's a bit heavy with all pole segments in use but that is to be expected. Stows easily in the provided bag and comes with an extra blade.

Fully satisfied!
The poles connect together very well. I have not detected any looseness or wobbling in any of the components. This saw comes with 2 blades so if you damage or dull the first one you can continue the job. I’ve made about a dozen cuts using anywhere from three of the poles up to about 24’. Of course it is challenging to control something so long so you do have to use care and plan how you will position the saw. At longer extension levels there is some flex, but not excessive. The blade is fantastic. Razor-sharp and ingeniously designed with stops at both ends to help keep the blade in the cut to save you time and aggravation.
