This is a great pillow and much more than a pillow, it is therapy!! It is constructed really well..very high quality and really beautiful. I was really amazed. I noticed the first time using it that it makes you relaxed, calm. It allows you to fall asleep in a very relaxed state. My greatest benefit is: I suffer with chronic migraine disease; Since I have received and have been using this pillow, the incidence of migraines has reduced by about 80%!! This at a time when they had been particularly bad. Now, I'm not saying everyone with migraine will get the same results, but this is what I am experiencing. The pillow is a little different to get use to. You really have to work with it and try placing your head in different positions on it to get the right and most comfortable position for you. The great thing about it is that you can actually remove the covering and place it on a pillow of your choice if you can't adjust to the pillow it comes with. This is a great advantage. Personally I found that placing my head high up on the pillow is most comfortable for me and as an advantage the pillow also fully covers my neck and shoulder blades (scapula). This is helpful as I have had major disc surgery in my neck and I notice my neck feeling very relaxed when laying on the pillow. The pillow as a therapy is based on solid science. Negative ions are great !! If you are going to get this pillow it's a great idea to do a little research on the net and read about the health benefits of negative ion therapy, also read about what the crystals in this pillow do, what their vibrations are about, what crystal therapy and energy and vibrational healing are all about. It is very interesting and we are learning so much today about alternative and complimentary health care, especially related to energy healing modalities. Energy healing is the coming new Frontier in medicine and health care and those of us who study and embrace it certainly know why. I highly recommend this pillow as a therapeutic modality. Again, you must take time to get use to it. It's not like sleeping on a traditional, soft pillow, but the therapeutic benefits are well worth the time it takes to get use to using it. I think that the covering it came in is made well, & I can see the crystals inside... but the pillow itself hurts my neck after just a few minutes of use, & it doesn't work as well (eg: supply the correct energy & healing) as does the original: BioMat - which is pretty expensive, but would be worth the extra money had I not bought this instead. Dang.

I got this as a bonus from buying the purple bio mat on 26 Jan 18. I did not have any high expectation of this because of the negative reviews that it is very hard and uncomfortable. Yes,it is hard for people like me who always love latex pillows. I convinced myself to give it a try because of all the listed benefits of using it. It took me a few days to adapt to using it.But once I got used to it, I will not switch back to any soft pillows because it is very supportive The negative ions generated all night long help me sleep better and my chronic migraine headache has been greatly reduced. Imagine this- you can sleep better, and decrease your migraine headache without using any drugs or even electricity for the rest of your life....I am sold and I ordered another one 3 days later for my sister on 29 Jan 18. My sister caught a bad flu lately and she couldn't even get out of bed on the worst days.So she didn't wash her hair for a few days.To her surprise,her hair didn't smell or stuck together like it should be. The negative ions generated from the pillow helps - just like the negative ion machine helps clean the air. I bought this mat in February 2018 at the suggestion of a friend who uses one in her Reiki practice with high customer satisfaction. I have worked in the medical field for 23 years now and I work out a lot with a couple days of heavy weight lifting. I was always sore and achy. I also had some minor health issues for years involving thyroid and hormones. There are not enough words to describe how amazing this mat is! I sleep on it every night. Some nights the mat is off (but there are still amazing benefits just from this). Some nights the heat is on low. I reserved the high heat settings for my power naps. I feel less brain fog, less sluggish and overall much better! My doctor has had to decrease the amount of thyroid medicine I take. I have also lost a little over 30 pounds too! (In the 10 months since I’ve had the mat). I’m sure the cost may deter some, however, you only get one body, one life. Think of your health as an investment! You won’t be sorry. Crystals are well embedded within stitches. So heart warming to receive free Amethyst bangle and free cushioned pillow case of high quality material together with product.
