I got these for my two finches that are brothers and live next to their other brother who has a mate and a different cage setup. Doesn't Mr. Coconut house start singing his little beak off tryna rizz on his brother's girl! Well, wouldn't you know, it worked! Slid the barrier between the to sections while cleaning and that little girl went right over to the other side to check out the coconut! Couldn't do that to her lil husbirb so I put her back in with him but now I gotta get him his own coconut so his brother don't make any more attempts.

Our lovebirds love this! Took a bit to get them to go in , but they did since they are very curious about things. Since they poop on everything, I found that a little brush off with an old toothbrush cleans them up nicely. I’m glad I bought this product.

I waited a couple of months before writing this review. The product is exactly what it says and looks good. I hoped my sun conure would at least use it as a toy to tear the bottom of but he pays it no attention at all. I tried moving it's location in his cage - still nothing. He has a large cage so I'll try it in some other spots and if he continues to reject it I will hang it outside this spring in a covered area in hopes that a wren or some other bird uses it as a one season nesting spot.

Real coconut feel. My green cheeks parrot loves to pick on th3 outer shell.Definitely will buy again.

After opening the wrapping I notice movement in one of the huts. Took my light out and found tiny tiny bugs the same color as the inside of the hut crawling around. Check the second one and sure enough they were in there too. Too small to take pictures sadly. Beware, check the inside carefully before using. I returned these same day.

I'm not using this for breeding birds; it's just to provide a safe hideaway for some society finches. The bolt mechanism made it easy to attach to the cage, and it's very secure and stable. It could be attached to the ceiling or the walls of the cage; I chose the ceiling. As you can see in the photo, the birds are using and enjoying it. The size is appropriate for any finch variety. It should be comfortable for larger birds such as love birds. I'm hoping that it will hold up to being washed better than the wicker nests do.
