I bought this for testing my old Fergi tractor. Very easy to use, clear backlit display - love it!

Bought to test an engine on a new (old) motorbike project, to know where I stand before pulling it apart. Works great, and cannot believe how cheap these are! Worked extremely well, and was worth the price just for peace of mind. I have a similar product for diesel engines, which connects via the injector and it cost a lot more than this petrol one. Highly recommended.

Brilliant little set for the price. Worked a treat, straight out of the box. Once the "supplied" batteries were fitted of course.Great service too.

I was very careful to tighten the adaptor to the hose as tight as possible, but only screw the whole assembly into the spark plug hole finger tight. After I ran the compression test on the first cylinder I tried to unscrew the hose but could feel it was just spinning. Eventually the hose came out, leaving the crimped end and the adaptor in the spark plug hole! I have a Mini JCW and the spark plug chamber is around 10cm long and narrow, so very inaccessible.I was really panicking thinking it was going to a valve cover off job to get closer to the stuck items. Luckily though I managed to avoid this with a pair of very long nose pliers to remove the end of the hose, then a bent piece of coat hanger to remove the adaptor.To top it all this is the first time I have used this item, 32 days after ordering. So no refund for me :-(

i never expected thois to be so good for the price paid , it was to replace and old analouge type weve had for years. I thought to try a cheaper digital version first and buy an expensive one later but more than happy to keep using this one.

Needed to run a compression test on a Land Rover engine. The compression tested worked as expected and gave consistent results. My only issue is the hose when stored in the case is bent in arc (so it fits). However, as it's stiff, when trying to screw into the cylinder head the curved hose makes it more difficult than it should be. Before use, suggest bending straight as possible and leaving out of the case overnight so that the hose is a straight as possible.
