It is the average flex-hose which is, of course, pretty flimsy for the price. But it's the industry standard. Put "boat" or "marine" in front of an item and they charge you three times more.

So far it has worked well. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it has thin walls as does a lot of this type of marine tubing and it always feels fragile to me. That said it has performed well all season.
