It fits.
This is not an original part for the CX9, but as a replacement, it's pretty good!The shape is a bit different, and so is the finish, but this might be due to 12 years of turning the key over rather than a difference in the product.This is not a part taht you're likely to lose, but having a replacement on hand is definitely useful.Recommended!

Little further out that OEM
Fits my 09 Ralliart just fine -- the only thing different I can tell, is it sticks out slightly further than the OEM did I.E. you can see the keyswitch behind it a little bit.But for price vs OEM, worth it. Plastic heats in the sun and cools when it's down, it's gonna get brittle and need replaced
