Era, Saracen, Surelock, centre case replacement gearbox with Hook bolt

Description

This ERA multipoint gear box has been used on numerous door locking systems over many years and can be found on some of the major brand doors like B & Q etc. The gearbox has a hook bolt and a latch and the backset is 35mm. The same gearbox can be used on the Saracen, Laird and Surelock systems. The latch is easily turned around to suit both left or right handed doors using a pozi drive screw driver. If your gearbox has a hookbolt then the more common deadbolt gearbox will not fit your mechanism strip / faceplate. This is the only direct replacement if your gearbox has a hookbolt and a 35mm backset (see images)
