Vaude Kids Puck 10 Backpack - Salsa Red

I was looking for a 'proper' mini pack for my 6 year old son to take to school every day and use on weekend adventures. This fits him well, admittedly he's big for his age, but there's plenty of adjustment in shoulder, waist and chest straps. Simple to use for him. Nice touches with waterproof outer, proper magnifying glass and seat pad included

admittedly it looks a bit big on my slightly over average height 3 year old, however he doesn't care and I quite like the "I'm going on a hike" look.It's brilliantly made, well designed and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again for my daughter (when she's a bit bigger!).Side pockets are great for collecting twigs and stones etc. Inside is plenty of space for everything he needs to take to nursery. When we go to the park I loosen the straps and can carry it myself comfortably (and I'm told it doesn't look at all silly). clips are easily managed by a 2 year old (lil sis would really like to keep it, but keeps having to relinquish it). All in all, very pleased. Still looks brand new after 5 months of daily beatings and constant use!

Awesome! Plenty of space and the right size for 5 years old. Love the security straps on a chest, the firm yet "soft" back. My boy is very picky and was really hard to find a backpack that he would carry on his own. Very pleased with the quality. Perfect for a plane and trakking trips. Would definitely buy it again.

My daughter asked for a red back pack with a waist strap.. this fit the bill so I ordered and she was so excited and absolutely adores her new bag. Its a great size, fab quality, fits all her school bits plus her coat inside and spare cardi. Very happy and impressed with my purchase.

My son loves this rucksack. Perfect size for school - fits PE kit, rolled up coat, drink and after school snack in great without being too large for him to carry. He loved that it came with a magnifying glass and kneeling mat. This is the first school bag I've ordered him that he's desperate to use at weekends too. Very hard wearing. Great quality and comes with a waterproof cover stored in one of the zipped pockets. All round were are extremely pleased with this purchase. Would def recommend.

Brilliant bags!I ordered them for a 5&7 year old to Dale on our hikes and they loved them. They said the bags were comfy and “ looked so cool”. They were able to carry their lunch boxes, drink bottles and a thin waterproof coat :)They enjoyed the two clips and felt very responsible clipping their clips up and carrying their own belongings.The bags are lightweight and easy to take on and off.Taking one star off Because I ordered two of these as I wanted to get them the same bag ( to save arguments) however the pattern under the hood is completely different ( the outside is the same) ... however this doesn’t seem to be much of an issue yet however I can see it may possibly be a problem soon!
