From 0 out of 10 Iwould say 6 Not very comftable-I quess someone has to get used to it if ever possible, it irritated my nose and after 5 mins of use i had a runny nose and eyes -depends on indivitual nose size/openings? It depends what you expect from it to filter for example dust and suspended polutants, the filters comes with are simple foam bits you insert nto the small silicon baskets and it only can filter large suspended particles like lint hair, not suitable for dust or even smaller particles/polutants

cotton balls are cheaper and as effective

I've been using nasal filters for many years to deal with pollution and allergens when a facemask is not available . I've been using a preceding brand -- BreathePure, which work by the same prinicple. After many years, I found that cottonballs were as effective, much cheaper, and available anywhere. There is even a medical paper on this (I am not affiliated with this paper), DOI 10.1177/147323000403200108, "Journal of International Medical Research" 2004, "Nasal Plugs for Preventing Respiratory Infections"
