Nothing like it
You can't get the combination of speed and comfort with any other mouse pad. This is the only cloth pad that provides this level of speed/friction. If you go with a hard pad then it's loud, scratchy, uncomfortable and it kills your mouse feet. The Artisan Raiden is the only cloth pad I've found that gives the comfort and feeling of a cloth mousepad with the speed of a hard pad. The only downside is that some mouses do not track well with this pad. My Razer Viper Ultimate works fine with it, though. Both the mid and xsoft versions feel good.Artisan makes the best mouse pads on the planet hands down. My two favorites are the Raiden Mid and the Hayate Otsu Soft. The Otsu provides a level of stopping power that feels great with some games while the Raiden has the quick adjustments necessary in others.Keep in mind that the classic versions of the pads don't have stitched edges. The new FX versions do. There were also a few adjustments to the surfaces in the FX versions, so keep that in mind when reading reviews on them. The Raiden didn't see too many adjustments, but I believe the Hayate line did.Keep in mind that the Raiden is soft like cloth, but the surface isn't exactly like the cloth pads you might be used to. It feels like something inbetween a raincoat and a regular cloth pad. That raincoat feeling is what gives the pad its insane speed. Here are my favorite mouse pads in the different categories if you're looking for different speeds:Really fast cloth: Artisan Raiden MidQuicker than cloth, but still controlled: Artisan Hayate Otsu MidFasti cloth (for the traditional cloth materials): Monolith M-508Slow cloth: Razer Gigantus

fantastic pad
These mousepads are worth the Hype but i had to knockoff a star because there isn't much grip on the bottom which is why i don't recommend sitting it on a smooth desk surface because mine would slide all over the place while trying to game, sitting it on a older mousepad or maybe using some sort of tape should obviously fix that problem. Super fast shipping, god tier speed pad, and great quality. Thank you!

Best mouse pad I’ve had
This mouse pad is great. When you think of all the best things to have in a mouse pad and put them together you get this amazing pad. Sticks to my desk and won’t slide even if you are a hard flicking arm aimer. Fast but not glass fast, and can stop on a dime for precision shots. If you need a new mouse pad that will take your aiming to the next level pick this up.

Not a Ninja FX
Classic Artisan pad from 2020. These are not the new artisan pads but still good pads. Haven’t used it yet but quality wasn’t bad

I Didn't Know It Could Make Such A Huge Difference
I've been fighting mouse issues for a long time, years even, on both of my production computers. I've purchased 3 differerent highly recommended mice, played with mouse settings extensively and swapped out mouse pads that I had laying around. Nothing improved mouse performance satisfactorily. I finally decided to build 2 new computers, it was time. After assembling 10K worth of high end components to build 2 rockin' machines, I still had mouse issues. Finally the light came on in my brain. The only item I hadn't purchased "new" was mouse pads. So, I ponyed up for this ARTISAN Gaming Mouse pad (I''m not a gamer, I do massive amounts of video production) because it boasted a firm and smooth surface which I decided had to be my issue. Sure enough, right out of the box my mouse issues vanished and mouse performance and accuracy were spot on. I'm not a stupid person but I find that simple solutions are often evasive until I manage to figure them out. So, if you're experiencing unsolvable mouse issues I highly recommend trying a new mouse pad. Eliminate that as a potential issue before you tear your hair out like I did.

Performance is Fantastic but Quality is Horrible
It’s incredible for gaming performance in general but it feels like an AliExpress mousepad. Compared to like a Saturn Pro or the Zowie pads, this thing felt really not good. For 80 dollars it’s not worth the marginal performance bump over a cheaper pad. The Saturn Pro is just as or even better (depending on the games you play) in terms of performance and it feels the price.

Very very nice pad
most consistent smooth pad ive every used including the hard pads n hybrid pads ive used. using this with a viper mini mira-s g203 n MM710 within the past week n only the MM710 would spinout only happened a few times within the few hours i used it playing diabotical but was enough or me to not want to use it. mm710 uses 3389 sensor i believe. all mice i tested with 3360 sensor didnt spinout and tracked very very well. 9.9/10 amazing mousepad. If you have more than 1 mouse 1 of them will work with it. edges might irritate some people doesnt effect me but some might want to use a sleeve with this pad. the surface itself is extremely smooth. i would recommend this pad to anyone who hasnt tried it already

As good as shindekai
i own the shindekai and now this raiden, i loved my shindekai but it worn out just after 6 months, so i decided to try to get a cloth one so its more unlikely to wear out fast. In my opinion, they are around the same speed, i cannot tell the difference between both speeds, however because this is the version without braided sides i cannot make it sit still on my setup and it likes to slide around so beware of that (i have a tablemat under causing this issue i presume). All in all, it is a fast mousepad, Medium is a bit to firm in my opinion maybe soft would be better, and hopefully it last just as long as the shindekai minimum.
