Ello Fulton Ceramic Travel Mug with Slider Lid

Pros: aesthetics, quality, value. I love that its ceramic and that it comes with a lid. It insulates well but also warms your hands, which is what I was looking for. Any quality ceramic mug or cup would achieve this of course, but many don’t come with a lid or are as good looking as this product, in my opinion. The lid has a silicone ring around it that helps it fit perfectly in the mug - it will never come off accidentally and yet it’s super easy to remove when hand washing.Cons: the mug is not dishwasher safe - it will make the wood part look worn very quickly and will make the attachment between the wood handle and mug a bit wobbly. We have several of these now and the ones that have only been hand washed still look like they’re brand new.

Just love that this is dishwasher safe and that it fit in our cup holders. Plus it looks and holds great.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful cups I have purchased. I love the copper around the top and the wooden handle.The cup is very heavy and with my hand issues a bit hard to lift. Still usable, but sometimes use 2 hands. The cup itself gets very hot when it has hot coffee in it. It also doesn't keep hot drinks hot for long. To be honest my actual mugs are just as good. The mug does not leak and it is a bit of an inconvenience that this is not microwavable.This is turning into a more negative review which was not my intention. I love the look, love the feel of the wooden handle. The cup itself has a richness about it that feels more like a pleasurable experience, an indulgence. It takes a Sunday morning coffee drink into a treat.

I love how you don’t need to touch the plastic lid when drinking. I had been looking for something like this for a long time. The cup is cute and very good quality. The only downside is that the hot liquid will become cold in a short period of time. You can’t have it all. Overall, it’s the best travel cup I used. The lid doesn’t come off so I can use it in the car as well. Bonus: my fiancée also loves it- and he’s picky wit everything

Every day on my way to work I stop at Starbucks for my caffeine fix. I often have early starts and so there is no way I'm getting up early enough to make my own coffee. The thing about going to Starbucks every day is that every day I'm throwing out a polymer wax lined cup and a plastic lid that will likely end up in a landfill and eventually pollute our environment. I am really trying to find ways to reduce my use of plastics, but somehow still live a normal life. I tried using a metal flask, and a plastic vacuum travel mug, but those containers always seemed to taint the flavor of my coffee and not in a good way. Then I discovered this Ello travel mug- It's ceramic and so it doesn't change the taste, in fact I would say that my Starbucks coffee tastes slightly better in this than it does in the disposable cup I used to get every day. I also wanted a cup big enough that it would be at least 'Grande' size, my usual order was a Venti Dark roast, but I'd sacrifice a few ounces in order to cut down on my plastic use. This cup is about the same size as 'Grande' so it fits the bill. It was actually quite hard to find a ceramic mug, that would fit in my car cup holder, that also holds a big enough coffee so I was very happy to find this.The only change to my daily routine is that I have to wash this travel mug out every day and put it with my car keys the night before so that I don't forget it when I leave the house in the morning. It fits perfectly in the cup holder of my car and the handle is easy to grab so I don't have to take my eyes off the road to sip my coffee while driving to work, being that it is a wooden handle it also cool to touch even with a hot drink inside and the fact it's not a closed off handle means I can set it down quickly and easily too so it doesn't distract my driving in any way at all.On several occasions I have received compliments on this cool looking mug, customers in line asked where I got it and I've had the baristas say this is one of the coolest personal mugs they have seen. I was so impressed that I bought another one- the white one for my wife and she loves hers too.A couple of things to note, the is the kind of mug to use if you are like me and drink your coffee on the road to work, it won't keep your drink hot for that long, only about the same amount of time that a regular china mug does. If you want something that will keep your drink warm for a couple of hours then this is not the travel mug you are looking for.When washing it I try to not dunk the wooden handle in the sink ( It cannot be washed in a dishwasher due to the handle) and if the handle gets wet I dry it off right away.I love this mug, but even if this is not quite your style I beg you all, if you are regularly get take away coffee at a coffee shop, please get yourself a travel mug and do something to reduce the amount of plastic that goes to waste. I recommend ceramic because it doesn't change the flavor of the drink in any way. Also please do one more thing- when going to a restaurant or a cafe, tell your server that you don't need a plastic straw and you'll just sip your drink from the glass like you would at home. We all need to do our part, This Ello mug really helps me to do mine.

To start of with the good things, this mug is very aesthetically pleasing. It is very sleek and looks professional.It keeps liquids cold and is great, sturdy quality. It holds up well in the dishwasher and is easy to clean.However, there is one major flaw in the design: the opening in which you can drink has NO LID! This means that the mug is impossible to use on the go as the liquid inside will spill if not perfectly upright.This also means that it does not keep beverages hot as all the steam escapes through the opening.If you are only planning to use this at your kitchen table, go for it.If you want even the slightest amount of freedom as to where you travel with the mug, do NOT buy this one.

It doesn't fit in my car cup holder, but I never intended it for that use. I use it each and every day for coffee. My friend uses it for tea. It works great with the little mug warmers - so don't be afraid of the contour of the bottom of this cup for that use case.Great mug. I've owned these for many years. I have broken several (they don't like being dropped on tile or granite) but I always replace them with duplicates.Great value; easy to clean and maintain; works great with mug warmers; dishwasher safe; etc. After a few years of dishwasher use, the wooden handle gets a bit rough and the copper color fades from the metal. Doesn't matter to me. I consider these changes to be patina! If you want to maintain the look of the cup, I suppose hand washing would make it last longer.Enjoy! White and gray colors both look great.

I wanted a good travel mug that didn’t take the taste of tea away like plastic or metal does.This mug is perfect, fits into cup holders, looks stylish and more importantly the tea taste great!This is my second one of these. Accidental dropped the last one twice!! Bit pricey but worth it for that morning commute!Had lots of comments about it too.

Very good service and great product

Oh what can I say! took it to town for a takeaway cappuccino, got so many compliments! The Mug oozes class and beauty, style and everything more. The main reason I bought this particular mug is because it is BPA free and further, the look of it is divine. I have several travel mugs but they are all without a handle, meaning you have to hold around the mug itself. Although many mugs have a heat protector around the mug, it still does not feel that good to hold. This Ello Mug feels fantastic, style a big 6 star in addition to the 5 I already gave here:)
