Very very convenient product to use, without any unnecessary complications, can do both wire testing and finding wires on network! Highly recommended!!!

The media could not be loaded.  Functionality: It does what it's supposed to (when it works). It lights up LEDs to let you know whether there is an issue with the connection/cable.Quality: Not that great. After a few days of using it, the 1-2 LED stopped working. At first I thought it was my cable but then I tested multiple known good cables and 1-2 LED would not light up (see video that I attached).Warranty: Platinum Tools says it has a 1 year warranty but when I contacted them about the 1-2 LED not lighting up they tried to blame me every step of the way even after providing video and picture proof that I had not bent any of the pins. If you do get them to agree to have you ship it to them, they require that you pay for return shipping and if they deem it "damaged outside of normal use", they will charge you a repair fee. After a phone call, various emails, pictures, and a video, I decided to stop wasting my time with them and contacted Amazon. Sure enough, after just one chat Amazon did the right thing and sent me a prepaid return label. Platinum Tools can learn a few things from Amazon. As for me, I am done with Platinum Tools. They charge a premium for their items and don't have the customer support to warrant it.

Well made solid tool. A lot better than some of its competitors. Would highly recommend.

Both arrived DOA, one was missing pin 1/2 and one had a mis wire using a known good patch cable. Platinum customer service is non existent. It’s a shame these used to be great tools.
