Bought an ex-racehorse Thoroughbred and quickly discovered his hooves appear to be made from warm butter and wishful thinking. One tiny stone later and he developed an abscess that had him limping around dramatically as if he’d survived a major battlefield injury.Enter Hoof-Stuff.This magical green fluff packed into the hole easily, stayed where I put it, and helped get us through the abscess saga with far less stress than expected. Within days His Majesty was much more comfortable and I could stop Googling “can horses survive stepping on a pebble?”Would definitely buy again, although I’d prefer my horse to stop treating every stone in the field as a personal attack.

Quite hard to apply as it sticks together but it does a fantastic job so well worth the effort. My pony had abroken hoof and it had progressed under the sole. I packed it with hoof stuff and he has made astounding progress. Arter a few days is sound

Bloody good stuff. Better than hoof clay in my opinion. The fibers in the putty once packed into the hoof crack or frogs will stay there for days! A bit fiddly to get out of the tub but once you get the hang of it, it's the best

Stays put around frog for a couple of days but really challenging to pull apart and shape whilst holding a large horse's foot!

Has been helpful for our horse. Was suggested by farrier, its easy to apply and helped horses hoof.

Amazing stuff!! Bought this to get rid of hoof thrush and it works! I just packed the stuff in the areas needed and 2 days later the thrush was gone. It’s weird stuff with cloth in it but l highly recommend it. It stays where you put it and does not fall out. Love it.

Ok.. wow to this stuff! My horse got some mechanical separation during his transition to barefoot. It kept getting rocks stuck in there making it worse. My farrier recommended this stuff. It is amazing. Just pack it in layers instead of a big glob. It dried in there and is now blocking the rocks from going in as well as preventing any bacteria. I did have to repeat on second day..my technique was pretty crappy on the first try but once I worked it out it was easy. Just separate out some little globs before you start. It's kind of hard to tear it off one handed holding a hoof so having it ready to just grab helped. Use hoof pick to stuff it in the gap... Wonderful stuff.

This is our go-to both as a preventative and thrush treatment for our equines.

Hardens like a cast! Lol. But it does. It must be changed every 2 days. All you do is get a little spray bottle of water and it loosens quickly. My horse has a split hoof and I’m praying it’s going to work. I spray veterincyn in the crack, let it dry then pack it w this gooey stuff. Thereafter it’s wrapped w a diaper and duct tape. It’s changed daily bc of bacteria, sweat, plus observing what’s going on. I’m praying to God he’s okay. He’s eating very well and so far no vet. God help him. Don’t be like I was! I got lazy and depended only on my blacksmith. Please pick up your horse’s hooves and clean them daily.
