For my anniversary this year, I presented this to my wife as she always complains I never give her flowers, but she also isn't a flower lover, nor has a green thumb to keep them alive very long. Being the theme for our anniversary was iron, I feel this was a practical gift to show my love to her and to keep up with tradition when giving an anniversary gift.My wife loved it, and she laughed when realizing not only did I finally give her flowers... well, a flower... but the fact that she would never have to worry about it dying and it would last forever allowed me to add the suggestion of it representing our undying love - trying to be a little romantic, only to be told I was being too sappy and emotional, go figure. Nevertheless, the point was made, message receive and the iron rose did its job, and I proudly say I did a good job this year and it wasn't something a hard decision to make. I also enjoy the little stand it comes with that the rose sits in that is a heart shape. It is detachable and if wanting to lay the rose down instead of standing it up, it can come apart easily.This iron rose is beautiful and I look forward to seeing how it holds up over the years. This is a great gift no matter the occasion, but definitely a great 6th anniversary present for the traditionalist wanting to stick with the old school themes for gift giving.

It is absolutely gorgeous!! The craftsmanship.....they paid attention to every little detail. The rose will definitely last a lifetime.I can honestly say 5hat you will not be disappointed.Absolutely, highly recommend.

The rose arrived bent at the base. Because of this, it stands crooked on the stand, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The rose comes in a nice sturdy box and when it arrives it has a nice solid weight. The rose is very sturdy and it sits well into its heart shaped plate, but the big thing is that it is also really well made and really looks like a rose that just happens to be metal. I really like it and it is a great gift for someone you love.
