Used on my work triaxle dump truck for night work and really lights up the area behind me in total darkness with no ambient light. Great value for the money

These lights are 5" Square and each light has 25 built-in LED's for broad-spread light. These lights have an aluminum housing and Lexan lenses making them durable and the aluminum dissipates the heat to keep them working a long time. They do not come with a wiring harness, so there is quite a bit of stuff to buy to get these hooked up. I really feel like this was a good purchase.

I got these 12 Volt DC Nilight Led Light Pods as part of preparing for power outages that seem to be happening more frequently than they used to. Right now our temps are dropping down to -20 F at night… not wind chill… actual temperature! You don’t want to be two long without power for the furnace at those temperatures! And years of observations have taught me that power outages and babies both tend to show up at night!  These are small but very bright outdoor LED lights. Each light measures 2 ¾ X 2 ¾ inches by about 1 ½ deep. There are 9 LEDs in each unit, a 1 foot power lead and also included are stainless steel mounting brackets. I tried to get a photo of the brightness of these lights, but the auto exposure on my cheap phone doesn’t do it justice. For the size, these are very adequately bright lights. I plan on mounting both on the face plate of a weather proof electrical box and feed in my 12 volts that comes from a solar charged standby battery. The 12 volt DC power is wired into a 120 volt relay that holds the 12 Volt DC cable disconnected to the lights until the 120 volt power fails, then these lights will come on automatically using the stand by battery. One of the lights will be directed to where I need to plug the incoming generator power plug into the house feed. The second light will be aimed at where I place the inverter generator that comes out of storage when the power fails. This automatic lighting will allow me to get the generator hooked up and running regardless of when the power fails and the isolated distribution system we have set up in the house will be able to run the bare essentials on generator power until the utility power is restored. I’m hoping there is a break in the weather so I can complete the installation before the next power glitch. I’ll try to remember to get another photo once I have them installed. I believe these will be perfect for this emergency use.
