This splitter is phenomenal! Usually I'll split wood by hand during the year for winter, but after hurricane Helene we had a lot of downed trees on our property and it would be too much, especially as trees were still green. Did my research and settled on this one, so glad I did. It is solid. Quiet. Friends gave me a hard time saying an electric log splitter was a toy, until they saw what we accomplished. No gas/oil to mess with. It will split 20"x10". Working with two people you can make some quick work of a big pile of logs. My wife has really enjoyed working the splitter as it's quiet and relatively safe, which is something we can do together. Great sense of satisfaction seeing the stacked cords of wood after just a few hours.

I had some slight issues removing the dipstick but customer service/support was quick to assist. Log splitter worked well. Very powerful and compact storage. I sat the splitter on my tailgate and split over six cords of wood.

This review is submitted the same day I got the splitter. I put it together laying on its side, stand and all. It did not require 2 people for myself. It took me maybe 40 minutes. You will need a few regular sockets and wrenches. I had it running and split about a half cord of rounds into split pieces in about an hour. It worked quite well. No hang ups or failures. So bear in mind that is just one day and not a review of its longevity but I am happy with what I got for the money.I loved at the other similar electric 6.5 ton splitters here on Amazon, there are several that all look like they are the exact same machine with different paint ensembles. Some Orange and black, some, Black and Orange, Some Blue. Some Black and Purple. Different colored wheels etc. Look at them close and they are the same machine.SOme f them were more expensive. I went with the cheaper price but there were two for the same price to pick from. All in all, Its better than the Axe It replaced, which was how I was splitting in the past. My axe is 20 years old and my body and it are 20 years older for the wear and tear. I got more wood split in an hour than I was able to split over the last few months b few rounds at a time.

Unbelievable !!!!!!!WHAT A MONSTER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT! Read the instructions, all parts were there and very heavy. 2 people split a cord of fresh cut eucalyptus in 4 hours. Most of the wood was at least 2 feet across and 18”long. Even tore through some knots. Makes very little noise. Totally worth the price! Don’t forget to open the air release valve at the front ( looks like a propeller) . Take breaks and let the motor cool off.

Yesterday i opened my Proyama log splitter box ,Assembly was very easy. plugged in the log splitter and started splitting logs from my wood pile.I can say this log splitter worked as described on there web site,easy to move around. i split 8" dia. wood with ease.Worked perfectly,Would recommend this log splitter for any home owner,And the cost of the Proyama log splitter was perfect.Thanks again.

I found myself splitting wood from my stack of dry oak way too often when i bought my wood fire pizza oven. It's not a large oven so I like to use short small pieces keep the fire hot and under control. I tired of swinging my splitting axe and purchased this Proyama splitter. It works great and arrived mostly assembled. It's electric so i never need to worry about it starting or running out of fuel. There is a shaft stop I use for my short pieces. The 4 way wedge is also handy for shortening the press distance, though not really for splitting into 4 ways. I bought the short frame which is stable and i just roll it out on the edge of my deck so I don't have to lean over. Customer service was also very helpful.

This log splitter can barely split a 5 inch piece of wood! Very dissatisfied
