This is more like a very thin soft blanket. It's not absorbent and actually just becomes very slippery if you try to use it as a towel. Because of the hooded style I wouldn't have purchase this to use as a blanket. It's not a good towel at all especially for slippery little babies!!It is very cute though.

I bought three of these for my kiddos. I love that they come in various designs so each of my kiddos can express their individuality. They're also extremely soft and designed "properly" (the hood is located on the long side of the towel instead of in the corner, enabling the towel to wrap evenly around my kids). At the same time, they're small! They're perfect for my 16 month old and new born but run small for my 3 year old.
