With my old tv it was a problem to connect wall mounted cable, and signal degraded a lot. Right now I bought new tv and I can connect another įm cable without any signal loss.My setup is: laptopHdmi <--> (5m hdmi cable) <--> HDMI wall plate <--> (10m HDMI cable mounted in wall) <--> HDMI wall plate <--> (1m HDMI cable) <-->TV set.So it works as promissed.

Good product it does what it says. Handy with the tail adaptor as fits into a single gang backing box easier than some of the other types that connect directly into the plate.i prefer plates normally that are moulded round the Hdmi port on the plate, where as this one is screwed either side into the plate. All in all a good price and product

Fixed this up so that laptops etc can be plugged in to a wall mounted smart TV. Works well. I would advise all to use a 35mm or deeper box or patress to take the cable.

Very good product , used in conjunction with the 90 degree adapter to enable you to cable with shallow wall box.
