Best tasting coffee I've ever had. Smoof.
I would not say I am a gourmet coffee kind of person, but this is one of the best tasting coffees I have ever had. I don't particulary care for strong coffee, and this coffee is really smooth without losing flavor or tasting watered down. OK. I have purchased Barney's Coffees, Starbucks (there are four of them within ten minutes from where I live), and subscribed to Gevalia for a while. I can always add the fancy flavors with the cream, but this is the best basic brew I've can remember. Worth the asking price. Highly recommend.I didn't even know what low acid meant until I tasted my first cup. If you have a bad stomach I guess that's important. I just go for the smooth taste.Just too bad you can't click on one of the little arrows like you do in the music department to get a 15 second sample.

The taste is OK
When I had severe acid reflux this was the coffee I had to drink. It is not bursting with flavor however it is a cup of coffee. So if you have acid issues this is a great option.

Really Good Coffee!
I love great coffee and I have tried many brands offered here on Amazon. This Lost Art Blend is perfect with the added benefit of being low acid. I would call this a full bodied medium roast, it is very smooth with a slightly sweet finish. Stands up well to cream and sugar too. The beans are not oily at all, they actually look dry like a decaf. I grind the beans about 25 seconds in my Krups grinder for a cone drip brew. I plan to buy a bigger bag while its on sale this month. No stomach or bladder irritation anymore either!

Perfect Coffee Taste with Antioxidant potential
I wanted a coffee that had a high antioxidant value (this one had potential but I need to confirm its ORAC rating from the manufacturer). The low acid aspect is ideal for my wife and I....The taste is perfect for us! The word that comes to mind is "Smooth". Really! A great taste! The price is just right too when compared to even main stream coffee brands!

If this is the only low-acid coffee, then stick with the regular stuff!!
Upon receipt of this 5 pound bag of low acid coffee beans I examined the bag and thought it strange that there was no expiration date nor an address for the company on the bag. When I opened the bag the smell that met my nostrils was far from pleasant and didn't even smell like coffee beans at all. I went ahead and ground a small portion to taste test this coffee. Even after the beans were ground the coffee gave off an unpleasant odor, which was, also, the case while the coffee was brewing. Just moments ago I opened my coffee maker and smelled the already perked coffee grounds and was sorry I did, because the odor of this coffee is very hard to explain other than not very pleasant smelling coffee. It tasted a little like coffee, but the odor and smell of this coffee ruins the experience. I will stick to the high-acid coffee with it's normal smell and taste, and the remaining 4.5 pounds or so of these coffee beans will go out in my next weekly trash collection. As you can assume, I would not recommend this to anyone.

Helps, and tastes fine
I got this for a reflux problem that was being made worse by coffee. This definitely helps with the acid problem. The taste took a bit of getting used to, but really it's not a bad taste at all - just different. I was completely used to it after a week, and now regular coffee tastes odd to me.
