It works beautifully. It looks like it could not hold up to the task it is meant to do.IT DOES.In my personal case, my ankles are weak, and the AFO supported my ankle that was turning inward by keeping it straight ahead. This assisted me in not falling and walking more safely and with more confidence.The AFO was recommended to me by my physical therapist and told to purchase it onAmazon as it was available.Should you purchase this item, I would stress that you get a doctor/PT recommendation, and then see if your insurance would purchase or assist with purchase.I did not do this, but I should have at least asked my insurance about coverage.The price is NOT prohibiting, but why not ask?I have had the AFO for 3 weeks now, and I never go out without it.

I was worried this was not going to help me once I received it. But it turned out to be perfect. It fits inside my shoe and has helped improve my walking after getting the diagnosis of drop foot.

Wanted to return this item but my house got flooded and I missed my opportunity to return it. It does not help foot drop the bottom isn’t rigid enough to support the weight of your foot.

The best I have purchase thus far. It’s very durable, the quality is good, I like most the clip that what makes it last longer. The other braces I’ve purchased in the past have only had the Velcro crap. Where as this one has both the clip and Velcro snap. The Velcro alone where’s down after taking it on and off a lot. But the snap/clip doesn’t.

I got this brace to help with drop foot and ankle instability that has been affecting my gait and causing pain. it seems to be (nearly) perfect for me! While I absolutely love the top, padded strap because of how comfortable it is, I found the bottom strap to be nearly useless for me as it didn't hold the brace properly on my foot and dug in awkwardly. Instead, I bought Jocyi brand compression wraps to replace the strap with. I removed the original strap and left the Velcro dot on, and that's where I start the compression wrap. I wrap it around the ankle and part of the foot and foot plate of the brace and it holds the brace perfectly and comfortably in place. I also bought a very thin, adhesive insole to place on the footplate to stop my foot from sliding. Honestly, for the price range, this is not a bad option at all, especially after minor cheap modifications. recommend to those on a budget for sure.

Very uncomfortable. Rubs on sides of heel and back of heel. I tried using foam, however the brace is not solid therefore the foam went through the openings and ripped. I would return, but the packaging was thrown away.

Good product. Worth the money.
