This is a great replacement for a current fob where the outside has broken, maybe the loop.
I purchased this housing because the open part on the bottom, where you insert your rings, was broken on the original. I only ordered one to see if and how it worked, but I need two. I will order a second one now that I know it works as it should. It went together easily, but there are several parts on the inside. I am pretty intelligent, but I would suggest some simple directions or a link to a video somewhere to show people how to swap the cases. It also came with the blank key, the keychain and screwdriver which was not necessary. You should have a key inside your remote that is cut for your vehicle.

The key fob is great! At first had an issue but it was human error!! Great quality, works well!! I’m impressed!!

Worst product I have ever bought. totally disappointed
The parts once disassembled never fit together again. Plastic material of the worst quality. I bought it knowing it was not an original, but it surpassed anything bad you can imagine. The key was left in such a state that I refuse to return it. Unfortunately, I'd rather take a loss.

This was the greatest purchase I have made on Amazon to date!! My old fob cracked open and I wasn't about to buy a new one for $400!! And this fob not only fits Fors but it fit Lincolns! I have a MKZ Hybrid and this key fob worked like a charm!! If you need a new fob, this would be a great pick!!

Great replacement
Very pleased. This case is almost if not exactly like the factory one.

Pretty good, if you don't expect much
It looks just like the original, only it doesn't say 'Ford'. Just take the insides out of the old one, and switch. I changed from 5 to 3 stars and added this after 2 weeks: The 'loop' that you put your keyring through broke off after a few days, just like the factory unit did. Obviously a design defect.
