Actually surprised. The board is pretty thin but it’s sturdy and the letters fit nicely.

I placed this in my alphabet center for my students to use during rotations and they love it!! I placed the letters in rice and the students have to use their fine motor skills to dig out each letter and match it. This puzzle is not only fun but educational because not only are they saying the letter, but under each letter it shows the letter formation to help 4-5 year olds write.

I should have looked at all the reviews. The board does separate making it useless to try to put the pieces into the puzzle. The letters are cute, but what's the point without the board?

My grand daughter and I make words all day with her alphabets. We bought two sets so she would have enough letters. Her vocabulary has improved and get reading is super great now.

The media could not be loaded. Pro: the colors are bright and it is what it says it is.Cons: the back of the puzzle is a bit rough, should have been sanded finer and finished but it's just thin wood. Which brings me to my next con, it's way too thin. The puzzle itself. The pieces are nice and thick but the puzzle is too thin and the puzzle board doesn't come up around the pieces high enough so it has to be totally flat. Also, the space around the puzzle pieces is too wide. Too much wiggle room. A little bit is good but this is just too much.But I think it's worth it just for the alphabet blocks for $6.99 so... no point to return. My son likes it anyway.

This is one of the better alphabet puzzles that we found, as it didn’t have any pegs sticking up to step on, and the shapes of the letters were easy enough for a learning child to see
