Very easy to assemble all tools needed comes with light. Very easy to install with basic knowledge diy level 1

The 4-light farmhouse pendant light needs assembly but the process is straightforward and only took me about 20 minutes. The light comes with easy-to-follow instructions, hardware, and individually sleeved parts. Unfortunately, the plastic sleeves are thin, allowing for the parts to rub producing scuffing, rubbing, and scratches in areas. Nothing terrible, but worth mentioning. Once up on the ceiling, it will be barely noticeable and a Sharpie will fix anything still visible.Once assembled, the light has very nice proportions and size. I was afraid that the screws/brackets used for the assembly would be too distracting, but in fact, that is not an issue. For the price, the lamp is a good value, well made and stylish. One star is deducted because of the scratches to the finish.

It came well packed in the box and had extra screws, parts, and tools needed to install it (including drywall anchors if you wanted to hang it separate from a standard light fixture box. It was in several pieces that required assembly. Some of the screws were already in place in the top and bottom pieces and had to be removed and then reinstalled through the vertical bars. The good news is that this meant all the screws and thread were nicely matched up and fit well. It went together pretty easily. The chain had threaded links at both ends that made for easy linking to the mounting base and top of the pendant. The light fixture was a little bigger than I expected so in my case it ended up that I didn't need to use the chain and only the threaded links which was perfect height for my entry way.The only negative was a few minor scratches in the paint on the top piece. Since they weren't on the bottom most visible section I didn't worry about it and now that it's up I couldn't tell you where they are at since it's too dark to see them with the light off and the when the light is on, the contrast makes it so it's not visible.It had a separate mounting plate to attach to the electrical box for the light which was helpful for the wiring but was a little finicky to get adjusted right. I think this was mostly because the box in my ceiling was not mounted in a very flush secure way. In any case it took a couple tries, but it was adjustable with some nuts on screws so it worked out well. It had a small terminal block that could be used to connect the wires. This was a little easier and nicer than the normal wire nuts that are usually used. It did come with wire nuts too so kudos for the options.I paired the fixture with some LED 6w, 3000K candelabra bulbs and it is much brighter and nicer than the melon light fixture that it replaced.Overall, I'm very happy with the quality, look, and how it turned out.

I'm very impressed with this pendant light. It is currently incredibly reasonably priced at a mere $43.99. The materials are metal and quality. I've installed many lights in my day, of all kinds, and this was by far one of the absolute easiest I've ever installed. While there was 1 tiny flaw in one of the bulb holders (a small dent, see pic 7), it has zero impact on the function or aesthetic of the light. It was a little tricky to assembly simply because I didn't realize that the black screws, to secure the side poles to the top and bottom, were already in the fixture and not in the separate hardware bag. I highly recommend this pendant light. It's a quality item that has made installation super easy on the installer. It also looks great and creates a cool pattern on the ceiling - bonus!

I was really impressed when I received this chandelier! First of all, each piece was individually and beautifully wrapped so they wouldn't get scratched, plus it helped with the installation. But what impressed me the most when I started taking out the pieces was the quality, I didn't expect the quality to be this good based on the cost of this chandelier. All the pieces feel sturdy, they were all there, included were tools, parts, screws and even some extra ones for the installation, and also included was the installation manual. I like the design of the lantern and it looks good just about anywhere. I have it hanging in my hallway and it looks really sharp against the white walls of my home. It has four sockets to screw the lights in (lightbulbs not included) and it makes my hallway look so much brighter than my old chandelier, plus I like its lantern design with the black finish, it looks really sharp. The length of the chain is adjustable. I'm very happy with this chandelier!
