This necklace is fantastic! It’s so delicate looking and unique. As you can see in the picture, it pairs quite nicely with other necklaces. I have layered it with my Kendra necklace and you can’t tell the difference between the two because it just fits right in with my other jewelry. I ended up not purchasing my birthstone because this stone was so interesting and multifaceted. It’s a pearly pinkish/bluish color with a creamy white texture. That’s the only way I can describe the opal stone. It’s just so simple and pretty. It’s also 14 karat gold plated and it’s done quite well, as mentioned previously, it blends right in with my more expensive jewelry. There’s also a little clear, round stone on the back of the necklace near the clasp that dresses it up even more and is one more little detail that makes this piece look even better. I love, love this, and recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable necklace that looks anything but.

The birthstone is a small rectangle and is petite. It's a perfect size for her body and looks good alone or layered with other necklaces. The blue stone is very pretty. She loves this necklace!

If you like petite birth stone necklaces then this is for you! It really fits the super tiny description. I got the December Zircon and the light blue color of the stone matches my other birth stone jewelry well. The golden chain is very delicate and has a tiny round clear stone in a golden setting hanging next to the lobster claw. It has an attached 2" extender. The closure is not pictured in any of the seller's photos, but that is what mine is. Very sweet and pretty and great on it's own or for layering!
