I've been a carnivore for many years, so my palate knows beef, and I've had biltong slabs before. This...is just tasteless cardboard. I've tried to eat it many times. I just cant. I hope it's my bag because no way anyone else can stomach this.

The plain beef is the only one I can stomach. The other varieties are just TOOOO spicy!!!! You've been warned!!

Stryve is my go to protein snack now. I saw it in a CVS and then came here to check and see if there are other flavors.I always have a bag in my purse for when hunger strikes. It's way easier to eat than other jerky products - those tend to me more tough than the Stryve Biltong, which are in much more manageable pieces. I have tried most of the flavors. Original is always good and the garlic is great too if you're big on lots of flavor.Definitely give this brand a go if you're on the fence. It's pretty affordable and the portions in the bag are decent too. A single bag lasts me a long time. I'm going to try the sticks soon.

Didn't like the flavor

What I learned was product is not like traditional jerky. The smell, texture and taste are completely different; the smell inviting, taste is phenomenal and product is, softy chewing and you do not have to chew it in your mouth for long periods of time to break down pieces. Then you look at the nutritionals.....wow low fat, low carb, low sugar, 12g protein per serving, plus Gluten Free.

Not very tasty at all, I didn’t like the flavor and wasn’t any kind of deal with the price being what it is and the amount of product in the package. Will go back to JackLinks.

I’ve been in love with all the Stryve products for awhile now, but I keep finding myself coming back to the original beef biltong. It’s the perfect midday snack that satisfies my cravings.

a keto essential. good to keep on hand when traveling especially. a little spicy though. you'll want to also keep water, because they do make you thirsty.
