Dickies Duck Blanket Men's Lined Rigid Jacket Coat

I got lucky on this one... I'm 5'-10" and 156# (average build, 41" chest) and bought a medium. Fits very well. I wear a thicker sweatshirt underneath. The shoulders are a little large, and the sleeves are about 1" too long, but that works with gloves very well to cover wrists. It's a little stiff at first, but an hour in the dryer on low heat softened it a bit. This 10 oz. duck is better made than the Carhartt equivalent, which i'm replacing. The zipper is strong. Rubbed some beeswax on zipper and now it glides smooth. The lining feels a like a wool blanket.

Exactly what I expected from Dickies. It is a little stiff and no frills. I have a similar Carhartt, I think the Dickies is warmer. This will only fit you right if you have an athletic build. I had to get a size down to fit in my shoulders, and accept some tightness in the chest. If you have a disproportionate waist, I would look elsewhere - you would end up with a jacket with enormous shoulders.

This jacket is of excellent quality, just what I was looking for... But, I had to return it. It was a "MEDIUM - REGULAR" and the body fit perfect, but the sleeves were nearly 4 inches too long. Broke my heart to pack it up for return. This is my second experience like this with Amazon. Don't know why I can go to Macy's or Penny's and a Medium-Regular fits perfectly every time, but not from Amazon. Sigh.

I bought this jacket so i could retire my 20 year old Carhartt Detroit and it seems every bit as tough. Really a perfect copy. My old jacket was a 42R and this one is a medium. Fits just the same. The Carharrt is going to get stitched up and reserved for camping.

Had to return this jacket. The stitching of one sleeve was off and puckered, and because the jacket had lain folded up in bag for so long, it had a permanent crease all the way across the shoulders that, with this heavy material, will never come out. I had to go back to the pictures online to make sure it wasn't intentional. Also, that blanket lining is the scratchiest material I've ever come across. I wondered how that would feel over a light shirt. Very disappointed. I will say that I'm 6'2" and slim so I often worry a medium will not have enough sleeve length for me, but it did. Too bad the jacket wasn't up to my expectations.

Seems they use the same arm length no matter the size. Make for an awkward medium fit

This jacket is an amazing jacket. I am a college student and I wanted something light but very warm. The material is very heavy, but I put it in the dryer for 3hours on low heat to soften it up. I absolutely love this jacket. It’s my everyday jacket even though I carry a backpack and all. I am about 5’6” and 180lbs. I got myself a medium. Hope this helps y’all! Great jacket again! Must buy!

Fitted somewhat large in the shoulders. Put it in the dryer for 20 mins. now it fits me perfectly. I'm a skinny guy by the way, so if you have a bit of a gut on you, the waist might be a bit tight.

La talla mediana es demasiado grande, comparándola con chamarras en México, no lo devolveré pero si me gustaría que me informen si aun producen la talla chica, que es la que me queda y es la que me interesa. estaré atento a una respuesta. Ya antes tuve una y me quedaba muy bien y por eso lo compre de nuevo, pero surgió ese problema y la talla chica no la encuentro. saludos

Great jacket, fits perfectly, it is wide in the shoulders and narrow at the waist which is different but it's comfy and looks great.

Bonjour.Livraison un peu longue car la veste est le vendeur sont situés aux US mais ça valait le coup.Le blouson est superbe,concurrent direct du carhartt Detroit Duck jacket que je possède aussi mais le dickies est mieux fini,la fermeture éclaire est plus costaud sur le dickies mais c'est surtout et je reviens la dessus "la finition au top" intérieur,doublure etc...Modèle US donc on prend une taille en dessous des tailles Européens habituelles.Déjà lavé 4 fois avant de le mettre pour l'assouplir et l'éclaircir.Encore merci

Not as oversized and “huge” as everybody says it is. Maybe just deathly thin people are buying it? I got a medium and and 5’10” 170lbs. I’m not big or small. Really just hope it stays the same size anfrer a wash and dry. The blanket lining is a little itchy but overall satisfied
